Re: 2019 PCX ignition
Just been out to the garage to check my key in my scooter . My key works both ways , with the hex lock up & down position. The key itself is notched on both sides so I guess it can be used both ways . Also checked my spare key is the same . Try your mail dealer , he might be able to get a new ke...

Re: 2020 PCX 150 - Rack Install Question
If you go on YouTube and enter Honda pcx rear luggage rack , there is a video by Red Sweet Potato and he puts a top box on a 2020 pcx . Give it a look as it helped me . Good luck , it’s easier than you think
Re: Roll Call
Myself and my wife are doing good . Missing the kids and grandsons , but better to be safe than sorry . Been out for the odd walk but feel guilty that people think we are irresponsible for going for exercise . My wife still has to go to work to put lunches up for key workers at her school . Only one...

Apparently it’s the ABS self test . It’s been mentioned a few times in different posts . Got a 2019 model myself ,and thought it’s a bit strange that it buzzes every time I pull away Had a Forza a few year back with ABS but no buzz . Been told just to put up with it . Never had anyone come up with a...
Re: Rain Gear
Due to the British weather being rubbish . We’ve got sleet & snow at the moment , I use Motrax over trousers when it gets wet . Unlike a lot of over trousers they don’t leak in the crotch area . I found them great to keep under your seat in case of heavy rain . Not sure if they are available in ...

Re: No parking brakes for uK models
You could use a Griplock , find them on EBay for about £10 . You can lock it round your grips and your front or rear brake lever . Security and will stop it moving . You can get them in loads of colours as well .

Popped into my local main dealer ( not Honda ) for my First Service, but they were fully booked all week . Could maybe get in next week but the weather is gonn...

Just an observation.
The wheels look similar to the BMX bike my son had when he was 15 years old . Looks like they just threw a PCX body kit on top. Not my cup of tea , Sorry

Happy New Year to you JohnL As you may know my daughter lives not far from you in North Lakes so I have been keeping a close eye on the terrible events in Oz , Hope when all the fires are put out , the firefighters men and women and those that are volunteers get the recognition they deserve. No coal left in the North East thanks to The Iron Lady closing all the pits , you’ll have to bring a packed lunch . But maybe Beamish might still have coal left , it is based on the olden days . I’ve still got my father in-laws pit lamp . Them were the good old days , going out in the back yard in y...

Pattomike “” As a 56 year old scooter rider myself , I must agree with most of the posts , get yourself an armoured bike jacket at least . Beg , steal or borrow one . Got knocked my push bike 5 years ago at a roundabout doing no more than 10mph , but got bumped into oncoming traffic . Couldn’t use m...

My scooter is more or less moth balled for the winter . Trying a new anti corrosion spray on my current scooter XCP rust blocker . I have never used it before but sprayed it on all the metal parts and it puts a wax coating on , seems to have good reviews. Always like to keep the salt off any metal p...

I’d stay well away from any Motorways , prefer the slower B roads if I can . Like to plan any ride out so I can take my time . Sure someone said “ it’s not about the Destination, it’s the fun getting there” . Something like that .Still running my scooter in at the moment . Hope to get the first serv...

No fun in riding in the winter , had my pcx since March , never been wet yet . Retired now so I can pick and choose when I go out . No need for 7am starts in the cold & wet . This is my second pcx and the batteries seem pretty strong . Just like you you said spinning the back wheel will pump a b...

Re: NEW PURCHASE
Never really had a problem with the battery going flat over winter . Just went into the garage , started it up and give it a rev to turn the back wheel on the centre stand think that charges the battery , might be wrong but never had any problems. Do it every couple of weeks for a few minutes .
