coolant leak?
Hi, I just purchased a used 2015 PCX. I noticed the coolant level was low when looking at the coolant reservoir. I opened the top, looked down inside and did not see any coolant. I stuck a screwdriver down in there and it came out dry. I topped it off with maybe 2 oz of coolant. I didn't measure it,...

Re: What do I need to fit a generic top case on my 2015 PCX?
Ok, that is what I was thinking I would have to do. Thanks for your help! Have a great day! I would suggest a factory rack for your year of PCX. Once that is installed, you will be able to bolt on the mount that came with the case assuming it is flat. You will have to line up the mount where you wan...

What do I need to fit a generic top case on my 2015 PCX?
I have this generic top case my son-in-law gave me. It came with his Honda Shadow that he bought. It has the case and the mount that fits the case. The mount doesn't fit my PCX. Do I buy a universal rack for my PCX and then attach the mount for this top case to that? I'm a little confused as to how ...

Re: Does your parking brake work? Mine doesn't.
Thank you Mel46! I just purchased a used 2015 model and the parking brake doesn't work. I'm going to try adjusting it tonight after work. I came here to find out how and as always this forum doesn't disappoint! On the second picture (left side), see the movable "arm" with the bolt in it be...

I live in a mountainous area, so maybe the 125cc might not maintain speed going up hill.

How much difference is the PCX 125 from the PCX 150?
Hey Everyone! I have a 2013 PCX 150 and I'm looking for another used PCX for my spouse. All the used 150's I find are in the $2,500 range. The 2011 PCX 125's are much cheaper. Is there a big performance difference in the two? If I get the 125 would I wish I had spent the extra money and got the 150?...

Re: Broken down :(
How old is the belt on your 2013 PCX? Same one from the factory? At least inspect it for cracks and wear. I trust my belt, but my bike has not been sitting unused for any great length of time. I try to exercise both bikes just to make sure they don't get cobwebs from lack of use. I just bought the ...

Re: Alternative to Stock PCX Turn Signal/Horn Switch?
I'm personally really happy with the location of the horn and turn signals on my PCX. I've always had trouble finding the turn signals on my other scooter. I kept inadvertently hitting the horn. As soon as I took my first ride on the PCX, it felt like, "finally the turn signal switch is in the ...

Re: Broken down :(
Always a little scary when this happens. Glad you didn't have an accident at least. I recently had this happen on my 2012 Piaggio Fly 150 with 3,100 miles on the scooter. It still had the original belt. I thought I was good for a few thousand more because the recommended belt change is 6000 miles I ...

I love your idea about the Honda Dream coming back in a "new, updated model"! Problem is it would have the new updated price as well.

Re: I have trouble going over 50mph, rider issue, not mechan
Thanks for the comments everyone, I really appreciate your opinions. I agree it's in my head. I "feel" uncomfortable. I know that I am able to ride at higher speeds, but it feels uncomfortable to me. I am slowly working up to it. I've been riding short distances at 55mph. So far I've only ...

I have trouble going over 50mph, rider issue, not mechanical
I recently upgraded from a Honda Vino 49cc to a 2013 Honda PCX 150. I wanted the PCX so that I could travel roads with 45mph speed limits and some short distances on 55mph roads. I just don't feel comfortable going over 50mph. The wind pushes me so much that I find I am holding onto the handlebars t...

Re: So I completely screwed up and stripped the oil bolt hou
Just some input here from my personal experience. I too stripped an oil drain plug once upon a time, but on my ATV. I used JB Weld. Not the JB Kwik Weld, but the regular JB Weld, it's better than the kiwk. It leaks a very tiny amount, but not enough that I have ever had to add oil and that was years...

Re: Whats a fair price to offer for this 13 150?
I know I'm a little late to this party, but I purchased my 2013 PCX in March for $1,500. It had 673 miles on it and was in perfect condition. I'll be looking for another PCX next spring. Hope I find another deal.

Re: For those of you who have "Cheeky Seats" seat covers....
Thanks for the input everyone, I greatly appreciate it! I'm looking into some boots with thicker soles. I may end up with platform boots similar to what KISS wore in the '70's Ha Ha! I'm ok with the seat height as-is right now. I definately don't want to go any higher. It would be more comfortable i...
