Re: Just received my adjustable brake levers!
Well, just fit the levers. Was really easy - even for a complete noob like me. Front brake lever - just a single nut / bolt to worry about. Rear lever - same, but with the brake cable end piece that slots in the underside of the lever. With my current gloves, having them adjusted to the 'shortest bu...

Re: Glove Box Latch
Yep... I have to press really firmly on the glovebox door for the latch to secure.... even then i'm not convinced. I would never trust it to hold anything remotely valuable - even just whilst in transit. I just keep a small hand towel in there to use wipe down the seat before I get on it, if it has ...

Re: Just received my adjustable brake levers!
When I first got my PCX I quickly realised that due to my small hands, I wasn't able to be as quick / efficient on the brakes as i'd like, and it really bugged me. I decided to take the plunge and order some adjustable levers from powerbypcx.com as I could not find anyone in this country that sells...

Re: Cleaning .....
Hello all. Up to nearly 100 miles now. British weather means water, mud , salt and other crap. What is the best product to clean my bike? I've been looking at muc off. Is that any good? Also what is the best way to get the nooks and crannies clean? Will a low powered hose suffice for rinising or wi...

Re: It's official
I went to a friends house last night at 7.00pm. Was inside his house for about an hour having a coffee and a quick catchup, and went back outside to be greeted with a thick layer of ice on the pcx seat, that I had to scrape off with my glove! My fingers were so cold on the way back, I thought thtat ...

Re: Popcorn smell coming from PCX?
Haha fortunately not. I knew this was a bit of a weird one... But thought was worth an ask. Maybe some corn has gotten into the exhaust. I should put some butter and toffee in there too and see what delicious snack I come up with by the end of my ride

Popcorn smell coming from PCX?
Strange one I know... but so far i've been out on my PCX about 9 times, and on a few of those rides, where i've been on an A road and doing 50 - 60, after a while I get a smell that is exactly like popcorn! Doesn't happen when i'm just doing 30 around town... only seems to be when i've been going fa...

Re: Short people got no reason to live...
If I lift my leg up and step over the lower section to get on the bike, I end up catching the fuel cap 'lid' with the heel of my boot. As a result it has some nice scratches in the plastic there already ![Sad :(](./images/smilies/icon_e_sad.gif)

Re: Short people got no reason to live...
gse123 gave me a great idea for this poll! I see a lot of threads about tall riders and their hump problems, but I like my hump, thank you! Happy Monday http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BUlIv3Ca8AI oyessum (5'3" / 1.6m) haha! Yeah I find the hump location on the seat perfect for me. I thin...

Re: New PCX owner
glad to see so many other short riders out there! (I'm 5'4) I think I will go for the D322ST now - especially after a couple of you guys around my height has vouched for them working well! Bit of an odd question for my fellow short riders: how exactly do you get on / off your PCX? Obviously taller p...

Looking good! What is the screen? I've been looking at one similar to that but haven't taken the plunge yet (Givi - D322ST).

What a washout!
...the weather that is! Opened the curtains this morning to miserable rain. I had told myself that I was going out today for a practice ride to my new place of work (10 miles away) no matter what the weather as I'd have to get used to it sooner or later! So I cautiously set off, trying to remember a...

Re: First ride on my PCX....
I woke up this morning with a really sore & painful lower neck / shoulder Yeah, we know. And a sore face from that perpetual grin. Something like that! :D My initial nervousness towards riding on the road is fading each time I get on the bike. After not going out yesterday, I was determin...
