I managed to get the case open. It was a combination of the dowel pins being stuck and the intermediate gear shaft being seized in the bearing which had ground itself up. The input shaft bearing has seized. I have removed all the bolts and I managed to separate the cover enough that the oil came out but it will not go any farther. Is there any trick that I am missing to open the transmission?
