As far as the procedure and disassembly, yes, absolutely. You may need to verify what the clearances are for the 150, but its very likely the same. Maybe someone with a 150 service manual can verify this?

Same here. On my 1.5 year old 125 it has never had anything there. It helps you out when removing/installing the panel. Keeps things in place before you get everything else done.

If you have 12,000 miles, have the variator rollers and belt been changed already? Could be due soon at a service. Nope havent changed them yet. I do all my own servicing... I'll probably have them ordered so I have them on hand when the time to replace comes. Soon I'll start putting 50 miles on 5 ...

this is very cool... i'm new to CVT's... so this is all news to me! I have just over 12,000 miles now... WIll have to think about clutch weights and all sometime soon-ish. Any special tools needed for the job?

the combi brake cable is just the link from the brake lever to the mechanism that actuates both brakes. To adjust the rear brake effectiveness, such as parking brake effectiveness, you would want to adjust the nut at the end of the push rod on the rear brake. Sounds like thats what you did. =]

Yes the dealer takes care of registration fees. Taxes on a new vehicle are 9.75% also.

Just don't buy one from out of state because in CA you cannot register a vehicle from out of state unless it has 7500 or more miles.

gotcha. Good luck on your search! Update this thread once you find something. I've had (and used) progressive motorcycle insurance in the past, and have nothing bad to say about the claim experience. I laid my bike down in gravel (no other vehicles involved) and got almost twice what I paid for it. ...
