Re: No idea as to why headlights became dimmer
Honestly I have no idea - I have an LED version and even if I would have the non-LED version I would have to check myself on the bike. But anyhow here is the wiring diagram from the SM. Basically I would check every wire going to the headlight for resistance. SM_22_3_wiring diagram 13 model.pdf or ...

Re: No idea as to why headlights became dimmer
I have no idea what amps the fuse is rated as I have the LED version but: dimmer light and more yellow (lower CCT value) indicates to me that the current is being limited. 2 things you could do: 1) check voltage at light bulb - if you have a significant voltage drop compared to what the voltage is ...

No idea as to why headlights became dimmer
Hi all. I realised recently that my front headlights have become dimmer than usual. My bike is running on halogen HS5 35/30 headlight bulbs. I have no idea what is the cause. I've brought the bike to the workshop and they checked 1) The battery. It was showing 14.6 volts on the multimeter when the e...

Re: Tire Pressure
I have been using 33 psi at the rear but recently found the middle part of the tyres getting worn but the sides had a lot of tread left.
So now I'm using 32 psi at the rear.

Re: High beam is working, low beam is not working
I am a bit late coming into this conversation, but I think your model is a 2014 PCX, which still uses bulbs. (Later models have led lights). I have a 2013 PCX and have HS5 bulbs, but I also have some led lights connected into that same circuit and nothing has blown yet, meaning that I doubt that th...

How much can I upsize my tyres?
As my bike is the old non-led type, the sizes are
front: 90/90-14
rear: 100/90-14
What are the max dimensions of upsized tyres I can change to, without compromising safety and within limits?
Thank you.

Re: Any online site to purchase cheap OEM spare parts for Forza 300?
Any online sites which you guys usually use? Any Thailand-based ones? Thank you. https://bikerzbits.co.th/honda/forza/ The Honda dealer sells for a little bit less, but I know of no other choice for overseas purchase of OEM parts at these prices I'm aware of bikerzbits, since I use it predominantly...

Re: High beam is working, low beam is not working
35 watts and 30 watts is the power the bulb uses/ puts out. like a light bulb in your house is 60watts or 100 watts.. If the switch was hard to push I would say it is the switch that is bad. You can spray some wd-40 on the switch button or some electrical contact cleaner and see if the button loose...

High beam is working, low beam is not working
So when I switched on the engine, the low beam is not working, which it usually should. The high beam is working. I don't think it's the light bulbs, I suspect it is the switch since there was a time when I found it hard to press the switch to switch from low beam to high beam. It felt hard to press...

Re: dr pulley rollers / sliders
because i exactly knew my rollers were worn out
and that's why it conflicted with what many of you thought about D.P sliders, that they were long-lasting. I asked to seek further clarification, if any one else on this forum had experienced anything similar to mine.

Re: Acceleration feels "rough" when moving off from a standstill
Doubt full throttle will help is the pads haven't and the issue is above 10mph (you say up to 20kmph) < when you feel the clutch bite do you still get rough pull away? yes it feels rough all the way, even to mid range like up to 60kmh could it be the clutch bell? perhaps it's deformed, warped or so...

Acceleration feels "rough" when moving off from a standstill
Hi all, In the last 2 weeks, it felt "rough" while moving off from a standstill. I thought it was the clutch pads. So I looked around the forum and there were people recommending the 22535-KVB-900. I placed an order for it, it arrived and I went to the workshop to install it, as well as ne...

Re: dr pulley rollers / sliders
Im sure its fine. If it runs fine and shifts properly, it will be ok. They are sliders so the odd shape can cause some to rattle around at idle. If you are worried, take it apart and make sure you installed the sliders correctly. BTW I would recommend going lighter. 12-13g sliders is much better. D...

Re: Clutch pad glazing
There is another thread last year with good info, I added to that... Generally I think the problem is with excessive heat, either riding a lot in traffic or high speed in a hot country (like where I am 30-35c mostly), like 100-120kph for a couple of hours ... Sandpaper solution only worked for a co...

Re: How-To: Replace A Headlight Bulb
Hey guys I am hoping someone can give me some advice. I have a 2013 Honda PCX 150 I bought used. The head lights burned out and I ordered some replacement halogen lights from China. I have read the instructions here and from youtube videos on removing the headlights. Unfortunately existing bulbs mu...
