Re: How many miles do you have on your PCX
The K66 comes in two flavors, "all season" and "winter" - I use the all season type - winter type is, according to my local tire supply shop, way too soft. Of course when it's freezing I slow down and if the roads have frozen mist/fog I take the longer (and slower) route to work...

Re: Honda OEM windshield
Hands down, the best windshield on the aftermarket is made by GIVI. I thought about using the OEM over the summer but I always regret it at the last minute

Re: How many miles do you have on your PCX
30 000 kms finally! If not for covid and restrictions/working from home the 30K km would have been reached alot faster :). Changed the rear tire today. The last heidenau K66 lasted 17 000 kms so I went again for the same type - good grip all year round which is not a luxury here during the winter ;...

Re: Honda pcx front caliper
i think you missed to grease the pinguides. When they get dry the caliper gets kinda stuck in the middle and the weel doesn't rotate properly

Re: Realigning Front Tire with Forks
Bodywork looks misplaced on the right of the bike too. Looks like it will need a partial strip down to see the extent of the damage. Who transported the bike? If it a professional company they will have insurance to cover this. +1 The other thing is that maybe some bolts are not tightened enough. I...

Re: Dumb question, what is the other key for?
Normally that's the topcase key. At least all the people I know are used to carrying the keys like this. But let me tell you for sure that the PCX is being sold with two original keys, any other different key is aftermarket either cases, locks, etc. https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/41jNUJb-1HL._A...

well you can undo a screw with a butter knife in fact I used one for several days.... but i wouldnt reccomend people to use a butter knife to replace a screwdriver The thing that I need for you to consider is that if you say that you're "eating tyres and transmission belts more often that the u...

but... if I need to go any faster that 40mph I bught a fully equipped 2005 BMW F650GS for about 3500usd... I think driving a pcx all the time at 60+ mph is a torture to the engine plus, the fuel economy is the same at high speeds but this is another story. Mmmmmm.... Yea, No!! After riding other bi...

Re: An OEM belt lasts 10,000 miles on the dot. How long do NCY rollers last before needing to be replaced??
I feel like it's worth it, tho, as I'm not aware of any possible alternative bikes that might be better... Other than the PCX160 or ADV150. For city driving yes, you're right but... if I need to go any faster that 40mph I bught a fully equipped 2005 BMW F650GS for about 3500usd... I think driving a...

Re: An OEM belt lasts 10,000 miles on the dot. How long do NCY rollers last before needing to be replaced??
10000 miles in my opinion is a very little distance. But I think everything depends of your driving style ... personally the belt that I have installed has almost 18.000km without any cracks, but where I live (Germany) going faster than 30mph is almost impossible and doesn't make any sense (small st...

I live in Thailand and this socket are on all small motorbikes like pcx small motorbikes like the old Honda cg125, forget about installing those in a pcx, the connector doesnt even match! wtf Honestly guys the best you can do is buy the proper halogen bulb, because the led simple does not offer the...

Re: 2022 Honda PCX 160 gets ‘sporty’ edition in Thailand
The fact of an existing 160cc pcx with rear disk brake sounds amazing but doesnt make any sense that this particular model has slightly more storage area since is the same bike in terms of platform. That would be super strange. Tbh i think it's just the regular 160cc with more flair on it Sad tho, t...

pcx jf28c 06/2010 93000km all day wow but... but... 93000km without rebuilds? So far you've broken the record! Please tell us what's the recipe. Personally i don't want to sell my pcx... Today is going to reach the 40.000km so far so good. But just the thought that nobody will buy a high mileage mo...

Re: How many miles do you have on your PCX
March 2015 registered 150cc. Bought Jan 2016 with 4,400 kilos. Now 40,300 kilos (25,025 miles) and just about to have the entirety of the CVT compents (inc clutch) replaced. Do not worry about a few thou' miles / kilos. Rather concern yourself only with a proven service history. I am more than gene...

Re: 2012 PCX Advice
Unfortunately you cant because the socket in the headlamp is designed to hold the hs5 ok here's the thing: if you adjust the beam height with the bolts behind the headlamp for you to see better ahead correctly you probably will dazzle oncoming drivers (the beams ends up way too high up) . If you don...

Re: 2012 PCX Advice
I've had a nosy around for an LED Headlight Unit, I've found one which replaces all the bulbs except the main headlight. The main headlight still uses the HB5 bulbs, but I found socket replacements for the PCX to us H7 bulbs so this may be the route that I take. Maybe you didn't find it because tho...

Re: Slow take off from stop till 15-20mph
I have 15,000 miles on DrPulley sliders in my PCX including disassembly for inspection and a belt change and never had an issue. Many people install them upsidedown unfortunately. The reduced mass increases the pulling rpm for better acceleration and the new shape increases top speed, especially af...
