Re: New member...first question
Break in techniques have been debated since the dawn of the ICE. It's a honda, you can't go wrong. Ride on, and enjoy!

Priced nearly right between the pcx ($3450) and the forza ($6000) it should fill the gap quite nicely.katschamne wrote:I just looked at the website again http://www.suzukicycles.com/Product%20L ... aspx#Specs and they do have a price on it now. It starts at $4999.

You sure it is a 2014, not a 2013?
After some searching i can't find any evidence whatsoever that a 2014 pcx exists. Can anyone provide legit evidence that they do exist?

Re: New 2013 PCX 150 owner.
Mostly reiterating what has already been said... It's good the way it is for short trips. For long trips on the highway you'll need a taller windshield and a humpless seat. The stock tires don't last nearly as long as a pirelli or michelin. The rear shocks aren't very good. And if you ride very much...

Re: London on a PCX (video)
I would struggle with why one would buy a small scooter. Simple, 100mpg beats the hell out of the 30mpg your average car gets. Fair point. But is the economy from a larger scooter (eg Forza) that much worse than a small scooter? According to figures mentioned on here, not that much. It is definitel...

Re: Move over Honda! I think i just found my next ride!
And the wheels are too small :) The rim size isn't the whole story. For comparison you should consider the OVERALL tire/wheel diameter, i.e. tire height + rim... Burgman 200 vs. Forza front: 528mm vs 524mm rear: 487mm vs 526mm The front is actually bigger. The rear is 1.5 inches smaller though. But...

Key words "down-sized." It's simply more economical. I want a 200.MichRocks wrote:Except for the underseat lighting, you just described a down-sized forza.

Re: Move over Honda! I think i just found my next ride!
I see there's no price announced yet, going by prices here it won't be cheap enough to merit choosing it over a Forza. That does have me slightly concerned. Maybe it will make honda release a 2015 PCX 200 early like in July or August 2014. If so that might explain why the 2014 pcx is identical to t...

Re: Start/stop okay for car not scoot!
How is it safer having this on a car & not a scoot. To access the throttle of a typical car the door must first be unlocked and then you must generally get in and be seated in the driver's seat. Doing so you would be able to have full control of the vehicle. That is in general of course. On a m...

Does anyone have any tips on how to go about removing the PCX body panels? I have the shop manual,... If you have the service manual and still can't figure it out, then don't mess with it. Removing the panels is mainly for inspection purposes only. I'm beginning to think I should have bought anothe...

My original IRC rear was bald at 3,000. Replaced it with Perelli Diablo and its got 5,000 on it and is just at the wear indicators. Next up will be a city grip ;-)

30/ 35 Watts times two bulbs. I'm going to go with HID from DDM Tuning. I have them on my CBR250R and they offer a near perfect beam pattern on low beam and are much brighter and whiter at 4,500k and 35 Watts of 300% brighter HID power. . http://www.ddmtuning.com/Products/DDM-HID-Kit-Slim-Ballast-3...
