Re: DEFINITIVE List of Upgrades for Those Wanting MORE Top Speed
Better late than never... On flat roads i was never able to get above 60mph without a good tail wind, but down hill, when it was new, the rev limiter would kick in at 72mph and over the years it gradually decreased to 58. Now with the NCY variator and 13g rollers i'm still not able to get above 60 o...

Re: DEFINITIVE List of Upgrades for Those Wanting MORE Top S
Where can i get a NCY variator for my 2013 PCX150? I think it's time i replace the stock variator as my top speed (hitting rev limiter) has gradually decreased over the years from 72pmh brand new down to 57mph now.

Apparently neither one of you read the reason why i replaced it to begin with.
Also gn2 you never answered my question.

Re: battery replacement interval
It was $95 on amazon last week when i ordered. I'm happy to pay for the peace of mind knowing i can reliably get 6 years out of it.
(Plus i had some add-on items so it had to be sold by amazon. That's how they get ya!)

Re: Strange LED Headlight issues
Just throwing this out there... Are you making observations of the actual headlight itself or just the indicator on the dash? Perhaps the dash indicator is faulty.

Re: battery replacement interval
After nearly 6 years and 16,000 miles the battery has been replaced. Since the yuasa lasted so long i decided to replace it with another one. The old one still seemed to start the engine just fine, however; a couple weeks ago i pulled over for a minute and shut the engine off using the sidestand so ...

Re: Changing tires, what are the options?
Breaking the bead was very easy. I simply could not get the lip of the tire over the rim. Sure there's lots of good videos, they all make it look so easy but it certainly is not.

Changing tires, what are the options?
When i bought my PCX the local shop would happily mount any tire i brought to them for a nice flat fee of $15. I've since moved to a new area and none of the local shops will touch any tire i bring to them, they require i purchase the tire from them directly. Of course their tire prices are ridiculo...

Re: Gas tank fill up
After reading your post again, it occurred to me that it might be the valve adjustment that lowered your mpg. Last week I adjusted my scooters valves, days later when I had it idling, I noticed a ticking noise from the head of the engine. I used a long screw driver as a stethoscope to find the sour...

Re: Battery need a new one??
Lithium battery, over 5 years running (no charge top ups) and no signs of demise. Can’t get normal batteries to last that long, 2-3years max if you’re lucky. Mine must be running on magic then, still has the factory battery. Nearly 17,000 miles and over 5 years it's still going. Just went for a nic...

Re: Something's not right
So I've had a couple more issues recently which warranted removing the cover to inspect the clutch and rollers. First, the loud noise at idle and also when spinning the back wheel with the engine off, fraking clutch bearing. Second, I was going up a fairly steep hill at about 30mph when i felt the c...

Hardly at all. I'd say less than 10% is on the highway. I've had a long standing issue that is still unresolved: http://hondapcx.org/viewtopic.php?f=19&t=1822
