Re: You would not believe what I saw at a Dealer today!
I also wanted to upgrade to a NC 700 X and was offered 1500 for my PCX. Come to find out that dealer really doesn't deal with trade-ins. Only 1 on their website. However one that does offered 2200. I still thought it was low considering with all the options I paid over 4g's last December. Probably a...

Re: water-bottle/drink holder?
I took 2 neoprene can holders, cut the bottom out of the top one, sewed them together and added a nylon strap with Velcro to fit over the handle bars.

Uphill the throttle is on the stop.
Ridden like this the thing returns 80-ish mpg (imperial) with the last bar beginning to flash around 100 miles.

Re: How to disable side stand safety switch?
Can anyone tell or show me how to disable the side stand safety switch? You know, the one that won't let you warm up your PCX on the side stand. I hate this. It can't be that complicated or is it? Is it a matter of finding the correct wires and soldering them together to make the bike think the sid...

Yup, did a hundred miles on the freeway last week. Had it pegged at the limiter to keep up with traffic. I didn't even check it.gn2 wrote:The wider you open the tap the faster the liquid flows through.

Re: Stolen PCX 150 repair
No Doubt! That's a shitty! Since it was stolen from your house, would Home Owners Insurance cover it? I had some ass clown steal an outboard motor from a campsite once and it was covered under my house policy, Eventhough the boat was not insured. It took a while to sort through the details, being a ...

Re: Increasing mpg with each fill up?
I ran out of gas the other night- didnt realize when the last bar starts blinking, I only have about 15 miles to go. I calculated and I only got 74 mpg. I drive 17 miles each way to work and it includes hills, and is all 55mph. I weigh with gear about 205-210. I have not had its first service yet, ...

As mentioned before, I use the Honda HP4S 10/30. Probably overkill, but at a few bucks more.... So 10 bucks every 3000 miles.. (and you won't need the entire quart) Going to start using it in my Honda Powerwasher. I just checked my oil and after 2000 miles you still have a hard time finding it...

Re: Looking for a Scooter Cover...
Like Chuck mentioned, you'll more than likely end up with chafing, even if the cover were lined in fleece.
I towed my Center Console to Florida several years back. It did a number on my windshield, eventhough that portion of the cover was lined in felt.

Re: Picked up one of our Forzas...80+ MPH Interstate Cruisin
So how's the ride compare? Still bumpy, or more cushioned do to the additional weight and/or design? I was about to pull the trigger on a NC700, but negated with the seat comfort issues. Hell, I'm old with a trashed back and need something that would take the bulk of our fucked-up roads. I love scoo...

Simple seat mod worth trying!
Friday I had to make a 100 mile round trip back to the house from Camp. Mostly on our F-up freeway roads. When I got back my ass was sore for 2 days. o_O Yesterday I removed the hump and took a short ride. Seemed better, but I notice it's more the slope of the seat than the hump (at least for my 5'7...

Re: Increasing mpg with each fill up?
I currently have 2100 on the clock and even with 20 some miles riding 2 up it ended up at 113 mpg. I changed the oil at 530 some with HP4S and only fed it regular 87. Most of my daily riding is on flat ground and knowing the roads, played the lights. Took it to work 5 days, hit the hardware store a...
