Polini high speed variator....... crap
Bought the polini high speed variator rollers put on the pcx125 21 current model and its discraceful. So the bike with the kit fitted was doing 62mph flat out on the rev limiter with it fitted. My standard variator that I modified is good for 73mph and 78mph on the limiter (bike doesn't have power t...

Undertray / Bellypan
So I do about 4 miles a day off road on my little pcx and was alway conscious I would damage the bottom off the engine (sump area) on bumps and ruts so made a sump guard out off some tough 10mm thick nylon. 2 weeks ago while following a car on the asphalt a branch was flung up by car infront and end...

Re: Yuminashi bore up issue
My guess would be the rings gapped wrong. Why did it bend a valve ? That's a different problem altogether. Or did the valve drop causing the ring and cylinder damage

Re: Valve clearance on a 2021.
I just did mine and it was a real pain. The service manual doesn't mention to remove the storage box, but it makes things considerably easier. Also, there's a very limited amount of space with which to manipulate your feeler gauges. The valves are deep into the head. I wanted to get a set of gauges...

Ugly Swing Arm
Decided I was sick off the ugly swing arm with the bottom exhaust mounts sticking out with my after market exhaust on my 21 model. So I decided to cut them off and blank the holes off. Was going to get the swing arm blasted and powder coated but decided to paint it now

Pcx125 2021 brakes seized
So 12k miles and 2 years in and the calipers have seized. Put new pads in it at 10k and should have cleaned it off a bit but still annoying it's only lasted 2 years. I've uprated the pistons, bleed nipple (hahaha I said nipple I know I'm 12 lmao) and sliders to stainless steel items and greased the ...

Re: Is the Michelin City Grip 2 a good choice of tyres for a PCX 150?
I have them on my 2021 model as its the only tyre I could find in the uk to fit the random tyre size. I don't rate them at all. I got 6200 miles out my rear and fronts done 10k and still going. I'd like to swap out to Bridgestone sc or pirrelis if they ever make a tyre to fit

Re: Reg Gas or Premium ?
Petrol contains more energy than ethanol. If you burn one litre of ethanol you get 23.5 million joules of energy. If you burn one litre of petrol you get 33.5 million joules. That means there’s about 30 per cent less energy in a tank full of ethanol, compared with the same volume of petrol. And that...

I quite often see 185 miles on mine when I'm not riding it flat put every where. Worst I've seen is 97mpg basically doing 60mph for a full tank

Re: Stripped head on oil strainer bolt
Yeh as Glen said really. Try keeping the heat on the bolt and the quench it with water or air line see if it will break the seal between the 2 metals. If not try heating the aluminium around it but very carefully and gently. Failing that your into the left handed drills and extractors. Old trick I'v...

Re: Just need to say I'm blown away that people doubt and refuse to believe the 21 can hit 85mph
So my 2021 euro 5 125cc model with modified variator, different rollers, different exhaust and inlet modifications on a god down hill stretch with my fat..... erm....... persons sat on it will hit mid 70s and will happily hold 60 to 65 provided the head wind isn't to bad. These are on on the bikes s...

Re: Poor gas mileage with Honda Forza 300
Has ot been serviced ? I would be changing the oil put every year. I'd also check the plug condition too. After that I'd check the brakes aren't binding before a ride and after some heavy braking. Brakes could be dragging once they are warm. check the drive belt and olers in the variator too. If the...

Re: 1st time out
Little tip fella. If your going to leave it parked a few months like that keep the tank brimmed full. Logic is in a metal tank the condensation on the half full tank will make it rust over time. If its brimed it can't do this. If its a plastic tank it can encourage water to form which isn't good eit...
