Re: First Ride of 2022
Heated kit worked a treat. Do you have your heated gear wired in to the bike or is it battery operated? Wondering because I know you had some questions about the power of the charging system. I really would like to wire in some heated grips and a jacket liner but I'm not sure how many spare amps sh...

My 125 will cruise at 60mph and will go up to 65mpg on a good push but don't like to do it as its revving its ass off. I keep mine between 55 and 60 normaly at half throttle unless its a decent incline. I weight 94kg with all my kit and I've got a big screen on mine too if that info helps at all So...

Re: First Ride of 2022
I use mine every day as its considerably quicker than using the car across the pond in the uk. 12 miles each way to work and back on country roads. I've had it in the snow and frosty mornings down to -6°c. I wear a heated vest, boot soles and have heated grips which seam to work well with a big scre...

Re: 1000 miles on a pcx in 24hr
I did 500 miles in a day (10 am to 7 pm), just a leisurely ride on back roads, so I know that 1000 miles could be done. My wife had a PCX as well, so we just decided to go on a ride to 'touch' 5 States in one day, which we did. We stopped to eat, refuel, and just sightsee before heading home again....

Re: 1000 miles on a pcx in 24hr
I did a 1,032 mile ride in 23 hrs 8 minutes last fall on my 2019 PCX. Got the ride certified by the Iron Butt Association and earned the Scooter 1000 Gold (the patch I got from the IBA is my profile picture). My time included stopping for 40 minutes to help a lady change a tire on her minivan. I ha...

Re: 2021 pcx electric power output
The only real way of knowing is to fit one of these. I have and heated grips are OK. http://www.sparkbright.co.uk/sparkright-eclipse-battery-voltage-monitor.php Thats a cracking idea but will it work if the systems over loaded ? Say I'm pulling 8 amps continously and the alternator can only cope wi...

1000 miles on a pcx in 24hr
So I've done a few interesting trips and rides over the years. I've decided I want to try and do 1000 miles in a day on my pcx. Yes 24 hours start to finish. Predominantly without using motorways and sticking to A & B roads. The rough planned route is to leave Durham going via Jedburgh to Fallki...

Tucan Urbano deflating
I've had my tucano urbano apron now nearly a year and I'm getting fed up with it deflating and getting punctures so decided to look for an alternative option to using an inflatable bladder (dont know what the terminology fir the air bag is). The best solution i can think off is using a length off pi...

2021 pcx electric power output
I ride my little pcx every day and in all conditions and temperatures. When I bought it I had honda heated grips fitted. I also use a heated vest and boot soles. Would the charging system on the pcx handle the extra drain on the charging system if I power them off it also ? Has anyone tried to power...
