If you're referring to the clear approx 3/8" diameter tubes that extend toward the rear, the originals were pinched at the end to allow pressure out but prevent inflow - acting like a PCV valve or kazoo of sort . You could probably get replacements cheap somewhere, just a short clear tube pinc...
