Re: Oil change tips
On my second oil change I put the PCX on the side stand and pulled the screen to drain the oil and clean the screen all in one shot. Much easier than putting a drain pan under it while on the center stand and you clean the screen at the same time. Time saver and easier. I clean the screen every oil ...

Re: Best Time to Buy?
Here in the USA, there is only a $138 profit on a PCX150 at Full MSRP..."unless"...Honda gives the particular Dealer a "Special Dealer Incentive", and/or lets Them apply "Honda Bucks" to it...pretty slim margins, and why most Dealers try to steer You away from the Scoo...

Re: New gadgets for my PCX
I can get some more pictures after the weekend. The mount is just a cell phone mount. I used double sided tape to secure it to the phone cradle. I keep my reading glasses, ink pen, and tooth picks in there as I use those items a lot. http://www.ebay.com/itm/310696630969 http://www.ebay.com/itm/20091...

Re: New gadgets for my PCX
I actually have the cell phone mounted to the handle bars also. No need to grab it out of my pocket. Quick check while cruising :-). And I also enjoy not needing to use the clutch. Nice. With my new PCX I find myself able to check my cell phone at long lights better than with my big bike and clutch....

Great Ride Today
I have put just over 3000 miles on the PCX150 since I bought it new this spring. Most all of that was back and forth to work with some small pleasure rides. Today I hid the to-do list and hit the road. Temps in the low 80's and not a care in the world. I ended up with a 220 mile trip today. I got so...

Re: How-To: Install a 12v Accessory Socket
Here is what I put on my PCX. It has a plug to keep water out seen hanging under the socket. It was cheap off eBay and I ran a wire direct to the battery with a inline fuse to be safe. http://i156.photobucket.com/albums/t1/JLHOG/CameraZOOM-20130708182327026_zps7b4af49f.jpg I put this on when I got m...

Re: Difficulty removing oil screen plug
Did you replace the nut after you removed it? I did my first oil change anyway and ended up giving up on the screen (since the book didn't say to remove it). Although after pouring the used oil into a container, I did see some metal fragments the size of sand particles. Saw maybe 3 or 4 with one ma...

Re: Hello Out There!
I would clean the screen to be safe. It cost nothing to pull and clean. This is what mine looked like on the first oil change. I cannot believe it is not recommended to clean at the first service.

Re: My Butt Feels Good Now
Here it is minus the butt shot. You all don't really want to see that LOL. I need to paint the aluminum metal black yet so it blends in better. I also will get some seat material this winter and try my hand at recovering the entire seat. In the meantime I used some 1.5" electrical tape to cover...

My Butt Feels Good Now
I was not happy with the seat hump so I removed it. That left the part under the seat that the hump bolts to. That was not comfortable either, so after a month of debating what to do I got my dremel out and removed it. I added some foam and pop riveted a piece of sheet metal on the underside of the ...

Re: Day One with my new PCX 150 !
I bought my PCX in Jan. Just about have 700 mi on the clock. Remember I live in MI. 52 yo and had bikes all my life. Last bike was a HD Electraglide and I had the for the last 10 years. This little scooter is just a blast to ride and cheap on gas. The wife and I just got home from a 90 cruise on the...

you you, This here was insulting to me: the thing you use for thinking with is prone to major malfunctions gn2 is rude in a lot of his replies. Maybe you need to get used to his flavor of humor. But I will not offer an apology of any kind. I read that line as him saying I am some sort of dumb ass. A...

15-50 Oil
I am about ready to do the first service on my PCX. I have some Mobil 1 15W-50 Fully Synthetic left from my Harley that I would like to use. I know 10W-30 is recommended, but will I be ok using the 15-50?
