Re: Honda PCX (150) Linked Brakes
First off for the benefit of everyone, the test it out on wet grass was more or less a tongue in cheek thing to one or two who seem to indicate I am full of it. It is not that I expect someone to do it. (but I would like to see the video if they do try it.) 2nd thing is that before I had separated ...

Re: Forza 300 rear brake/rotor wear issue.
Very interesting. I would have thought if it was that critical Honda would use dowels in the arms so they centre correctly. Thinking about it it will affect the rear wheel alignment slightly moving the arm up and down as the hub is fixed.

Re: Jump starter
There are restrictions on flying with lithium ion battery's. I had to fill in declarations to send my works diagnostic tester back to Germany recently. I had to put the battery series numbers, state there was no damage or swollen battery's etc. The internals of the battery's are very caustic. The hi...

I've got something similar. Very handy. You can jump start a reasonable car with one.

Re: New PCX 125 Rider
I tried Dr. Pulley sliders but they did nothing for me. I have been advised that I used sliders of the wrong dimension, so, if you can get the proper part # from someone here--I think Chicaboo has the info you would need-- you might increase the top end somewhat a sliders mod. Yep, LIGHTER sliders/...

Here's where I got mine. (13g)
http://www.exportstrength.com/index.php ... o997anoda4
It says Yamaha but they are the same size.
The shop is in Thailand but the postage is reasonably quick.

Link for winter tyres. Look at the bottom of the page for your county's flag to get a local site. http://www.mytyres.co.uk/cgi-bin/rshop.pl?s_p=Heidenau-K66-Snowtex-100_90-14-RF-TL-57P-M_S-marking_-M_C&details=Ordern&typ=R-239961&cart_id=4335305.110.29850&ranzahl=1&Breite=100&...

Re: New PCX 125 Rider
Also, are there any mod's etc i could do to increase the speed/performance? Thanks! :) That's the million dollar question. They can be tweaked reasonably cheaply by changing the pulley rollers but don't expect miracles. There are loads of threads in the performance section so that's worth a look. W...

At topic: PCX's CBS seem to be working fine for me. Couple it with progressive braking and you'll be okay.

Re: Honda PCX (150) Linked Brakes
This thread is quite interesting to me. I have not tried to separate the two brakes but when I squeeze the left brake lever with the bike up on its center stand the rear wheel will not spin, and does seem to be locked. I am thinking that Chica boo might have a point. Maybe the valve affects the rea...

What Helmets do people wear? Are there any decent looking ones out there that a priced reasonably? looked at some and they are like £200+ o_O I have an AGV K4 evo, I had a Caberg Konda Flip before that. All helmets worn on UK roads must meet one of the following: British Standard BS 6658:1985 and c...

Re: Honda PCX (150) Linked Brakes
I can't understand why people muck about with braking systems. Fitting bigger discs and uprated pads I can understand but to tamper with a system that Honda probably spent a load of cash developing and works fine seems daft to me.

Hello and welcome to the forum. To answer the most important question first is yes, you can ride a 125cc with an L plate once you have completed a CBT training course at a certified training school. The course is usually about £120 ish depending on the area your in and depending on you using your ow...

Re: Making the rear brake pads last???
I finally had the parts I wanted for my Forza after a few tries. I pulled the rear calliper off and the brakes were ruined again. The inner pad was down to the metal and the outer pad was almost brand new. What causes the calliper to stick like this? The pads seize in the slides and don't release c...
