Re: Mirrors
Just been to the garage, both are right hand threads. And I haven't had a beer (yet).

Re: Mirrors
I've had a beer since I removed my mirrors but I think they were both right hand threads.
It was a big beer though, they could have been clip ons.

Measure the static sag. That's the difference in ride height with you on and off the scooter.

Re: Sym Maxsym 400i ABS
I was also thinking about what car i could get for £5000....think i would go for an A3 over a TT tho! Lets face it you will never look good on a scooter (maybe a good vespa on a sunny day) so it kinda defeats the idea of spending more on a scoot just because it looks good. This is why my top priori...

What's the dimensions of that sat nav holder? Could be just the thing I need for my rear view camera project.

Re: Mirror Stem Extenders
As a cheap first attempt I'm thinking of making it easy to remove and mounted under the front screen. It would be out of the rain (mostly) when travelling and under the seat when parked. This is going to be my first buy; http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/UK-IR-Reverse-Camera-4-3-Car-LCD-Monitor-Car-Rear-Vie...

Re: Mirror Stem Extenders
I'm thinking of removing mine. Don't use them much, and I thought I might rig up some sort of screen and rear facing camera. Any thoughts?

Re: How fast would you want to go on your PCX 125/150?
I'd like an actual 70 mph, so more like 80 indicated.
I think the PCX is very stable and don't see a problem with 70 at all. I've ridden mine every day since I've bought it, we've had frost, light snow and strong winds. Not been a problem.

Re: Convenience/bag hook
I hope this isn't too much of a hijack; I have a hook on my Lambretta. It's attached to the very top of the leg shields, underneath the bars so it doesn't interfere in any way. I'm looking for a smallish bag to hang from it to carry my autocom, battery, pmr radio etc. I've seen some pictures of the ...

£100 - £150.m
I'd be very tempted to do it myself but then I'd worry about the warranty.
