My son has been riding our 2019 PCX150 around campus for 2 years with the seat alignment tabs OUTSIDE the helmet well. I am pretty sure they are supposed to go inside the helmet storage well. Here is a possibility that I have not seen mentioned. Check the vertical alignment tabs underneath the padded (upper) portion of the seat. Those tabs are supposed to go inside the helmet (storage) well; NOT outside. My son rode our 2019 PCX150 at university for 2 years with the tabs outside the box....
