Re: Hello, new member.

Re: Best colour PCX?

i think i saw a blue Faze on the way home. it was difficult to get a good look as it was going the other direction. i do think it is a different color.

i also saw my first 150 today. it was red and the 150 red is definitely a bit of a brighter red than my 2011 model 125.

Re: need instruction for how to replace a spark plug

wondering why you need to replace the spark plug. have you really done that many miles already? anyway, the main concerns with changing the sparkplug are. 1. dont let any small rocks, dirt or other crap get into the spark plug hole as that can damage the cyclinder wall. (probably not a concern on th...

Re: Flat tire

it really depends on who you ask and opinions vary. it is a bit dangerous to ride on a plugged tire on a motorcycle, especially the front tire. if the rear blows it is less likely to cause a crash than the front. if a tire blows on a car you have 3 more so it is not as dangerous. generally speaking,...

Re: Ermax

my scoot fell over and hit my car completely shattering my givi screen. i wasnt completely happy with the givi as it was a bit shorter than i wanted, so i think i'll go with the ermax+25. when researching screens it is important to realize that the aerodynamics will be different depending on the rid...

Re: Klack! Klack! Klack! Sigh...

Wow! Still no parts from Honda. They will cover it under warranty, but backordered parts for close to 2 and 1/2 months now. I bought a Honda CBR250R in the meantime as a replacement , but still waiting. Kind of sucks to pay for something they can't supply the parts to fix. Warranty and summer are t...

Re: $6 Walmart backpack bike cover carrier

A culture where people just manhandle your brand new bike doesn't sound like one I would want to buy a bike in. I mean, would they really try and move a CBR1000RR just to free up some parking space? If you try'd and do that around here the owner would gladly redecorate your face. no they can tell w...

Re: $6 Walmart backpack bike cover carrier

I'm totally jealous of your 800GS, just hearing that you have one. They're such nice bikes. I'm guessing you could stow cargo in a bag like that too... And for $6, that's ultra-cheap. :) the 800GS is an awesome bike. 4 years after they came out they are already sold out worldwide for 2012 according...

Re: $6 Walmart backpack bike cover carrier

at least they wouldnt be moving your bike then. Can always put it sideways too. if that were possible i am sure they'd put some nasty stickers or warning signs on it. i think this is one of the many aspects of motocycle culture here in japan that is difficult to understand coming from a civilized w...

Re: $6 Walmart backpack bike cover carrier

They move your bike??? Id be chaining it to a post if that was the case. Cheeky bastards. yes, they try to manhandle and move the small bikes closer to eachother, and put them on the centerstands to sqeeze them closer together. its a good idea but if you chained it to a post theyd just make your bi...

$6 Walmart backpack bike cover carrier

ive been carrying a bike cover to throw over the bike in the motorcycle parking lots at my various workplaces. the other riders and security guards tend to cram bikes together like bicycles. the security guys at one place go around and move small bikes like bicycles craming them together and putting...

Re: Riding with full beam on all the time.

what i meant is that there is no issue with safety or blinding drivers with the high beam in normal daylight conditions I disagree, in my opinion it presents a risk of dazzling other road users. Together with the new style of high intensity lamps it's a pet hate of mine and anyone who does it is on...

Re: Riding with full beam on all the time.

Blue lights on private vehicles are completely illegal in the UK. Re: Riding with full beam on all the time.

i think it is a non-issue for daylight riding and not a bad idea at all. you could also put a blue LED light strip on the front if you really wanna be more visible if that isnt illegal in the UK?

this weeks costco run: http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y254/kansai-riders/ebcff8e8.jpg by static i mean that it doesnt stretch. like the difference between a climbing rope that stretches to absorb a fall and a rapelling rope which doesnt stretch and is thus a "static line". bungees work ...
