They were on my Christmas list last year But we haven't installed them yet I suspect you need to move the break levers over just slightly to make it work. Now that it is getting colder and I have good photo references I think we'll make it a priority to get them on.

Our 2011 PCX125 came from Lake City as well, and I agree that the owner and his wife are pretty nice. I didn't feel that we got a very good deal there however, so I was wondering if there might be another good option in the area. Welcome JP! I'm thrilled to see another member from the Seattle area. Which Dealer did you purchase it from, and would you recommend that dealer? If you haven't done so already, you may want to consider a bigger windscreen. It makes riding in cooler weather much more enjoyable. Cheers! -Rainburg

We are just putting our PCX back together after doing our first valve check at about 1200+ miles. It was out of spec on the intake at .006 and the exhaust was good at .009 so we only had to tighten the intake. I'm glad that we finally checked as I wouldn't want to be running it much out of spec, but...

Those looks exactly the same, so we should have most in not all of the tools we need. Thank you C-Note! We're finally going to tackle the valves this weekend I think. Easier to give the PCX up for a bit now that cool rainy weather has returned.

Congratulations C-Note! What trim removal tools did you use? We bought a set at Harbor Freight, but haven't used them yet so I don't know if they were a good choice among the several options. Do you have a link or photo?

A quick question for the mechanically inclined. Do you know why the instructions ask you to disconnect the fuel line? Is it really necessary, or is it just a precaution for liability reasons?

I find the cruisers are the most likely to wave. The sport bikes, rarely. Other scooter riders....maybe not at all. It is also for private party transactions. Might be worth a look in addition to Craigslist since they are more...

Just 1 year. Pretty weak warranty.

We have Progressive too, just on our scooters. We pay $80/year for the PCX and $85 for the Burgman with a $500 deductible for collision and comprehensive. It also includes Roadside Assistance so that we can get a tow if we ever have an issue. I don't expect to ever need it, but we have it for peace ...
