Re: Day One with my new PCX 150 !
Could be it is mostly due to the fact that the PCX is a lightweight bike. Just look at those folks out on the highway on really big touring bikes weighing almost as much as a small car. (ok, I exaggerate, but you get the point.) I bet the wind doesn't have as much impact on those bikes. So far I've ...

Re: What is your cage?
I've got a big, Chevrolet diesel pickup truck to haul trailers or carry tools.
I could easily handle a Versahaul with my PCX if I wanted to.

Re: Day One with my new PCX 150 !
I love that now I am getting the Biker's Salute from serious motorcyclists while I'm out riding the twisty roads around here. I never got the wave from the big bikers with my crappy old 50cc.

Re: What laptop?
We have both the Lenovo Thinkpad x220 and x230. Small, sturdy, and the best keyboard you will ever find on a laptop.
Highly recommended.

Re: Hurray. Hurray...
Shagging outside is an overated activity. Dirt and sand gets in the naughty bits and there are too many folk with phone cameras everywhere. I concur  . But is there anyone out there that hasn't shagged in the country/beach at least once in a lifetime?. How about getting caught? I'm thinking of...

Re: MC Endorsement
In my recent years I've been riding a 2005 50cc scooter without a motorcycle endorsement in this state. But I just traded that piece of junk in for my new PCX 150 and my teenage daughter and my wife want to ride it. So, the three of us are going to take the Motorcycle Basic Riding Course here in Was...

Re: New ride -- Honda Silverwing
I really like reading stuff from you. You are so informative. It seems we are at slightly different points in life. If only I had the internet back in the 1970's! But that is too strange. I did all of my major touring in the 1970's with my wife on 10-speed racing bicycles outfitted for cross-country...

Re: Day One with my new PCX 150 !
OK, I notice there are a bunch of old farts here that could form some sort of club or gang. I see there are people from North Carolina, Delaware, Tennessee, Michigan, and I live just outside of Seattle, Washington. Maybe we could have an O.F.R.A.T. rally somewhere. I'm just trying to figure out how ...

Day One with my new PCX 150 !
I am a 60++ year old man grinning from ear to ear with this new red PCX 150. When I was a teenager I rode various bikes from 60cc to 500cc but gave them up when I went to college back in the '70's. Now my teenage daughter has goaded me into trading in my 50cc TNG Chinese scooter for this new ride. A...

Re: Givi Monokey vs. Monolock on PCX 150 luggage rack
I may have used the wrong term when I wrote about the PCX 150 luggage rack. What I was referring to is, I think, the "Rear Trunk Base 08L70-KZY-910" as listed on Honda's website as a required accessory for for mounting Honda's own top case. PCX Commuter did a wonderful How-to post describi...

Givi Monokey vs. Monolock on PCX 150 luggage rack
The weight rating on the Monolock seems too low for my grocery shopping. I will soon own a PCX 150 after years of unsatisfactory ownership of a TNG 50 cc scooter. What I have been in the habit of doing is loading up my crappy topcase that came with my TNG full to capacity with groceries, including a...
