Re: Just bought a V-Strom 650 for long distance rides
I am accustomed to a sensation of being top heavy until packed heavily in my pannier bags. This is a picture of me in 1978 in Alaska having ridden there on this bike from Minnesota with my wife. Yes, my wife rode with me to Alaska and took this picture. I always feel top heavy on any kind of bicycle...

Re: Just bought a V-Strom 650 for long distance rides
Sorry, no pictures yet. The dealer is having one delivered from another dealer. I bought a new ( zero miles ) 2015 DL650XTA, that is the 2015 Adventure version of the XT. Beak, spokes, and OEM Suzuki hard pannier boxes. What I wanted and got was the Suzuki Zero down, 0% interest financing. I could h...

Just bought a V-Strom 650 for long distance rides
I sure do love my PCX and will keep it for the local rides, but now I have a Suzuki DL650 V-Strom for my long highway trips. I really wanted the power and acceleration together with luggage capacity that my new "Wee-Strom" can provide. I am super excited with my new ride!

Re: Poll: Are you a leg over person?
If I were to cross dress and wear a dress or a skirt, then I would certainly get on girly style. When my wife mounts the PCX, either as a passenger or as the rider, she is so cute that she makes me forget where she swings her leg. I will only mount girly style, however, if I were to go out wearing m...

Re: Bought New PCX150
By the way, about the windshield. At 45 to 55 mph I really feel no problem with the wind in the warm months of the year. I could certainly agree that above 55, especially in cool weather, a windshield would be really nice. In the summer at anything up to 55 mph the wind cooling feels great. At 60 th...

Re: Bought New PCX150
I have not been on the forum for a while due to hospitalization issues with both my wife and my daughter. At night my car drives to visit my wife in the hospital left me sad and feeling generally "down" in spirits. My daughter was recovering at the same time from a planned and expected su...

Re: The DAMN Seat Latch
I actually like the seat latch being this way, and I think its design was intentional. My past scooter had an incredibly easy to latch seat, so easy that it would latch when I did not want it to. I was often afraid that the seat would latch if I accidentally left the ignition key inside. With my PCX...

It would be fun to have one of these and play a loop sound of a really huge motorcycle.

Re: Honda OEM Rear Trunk Base, 2013 one-piece metal version
I ride with the Honda/Givi top box when I do the grocery shopping. When I want to have that "sport bike" appearance I take off the top box and attach my Tunnel Bag (Givi EA105 / Givi T496). It seems to confuse the curious as to whether I'm riding a scooter or a sport bike. When I know I ha...

No reason why getting to work can't be a fun ride. I bet working as a volunteer is reward enough, however an enjoyable ride to get there makes you just that much more happy.

Hi, ScooterKim
I see you have the Honda Rear Trunk Base 08L70-KZY-910. I have the same kind of luggage rack as you do. I really like it.

It's after you are done with your scooter or motorcycle for the day. As opposed to the old saying "one for the road", it's a beer bar after the road.you you wrote:Which bar is this?former50cc wrote:Average fuel per beer?

Re: Riding Tips
I would say make all car drivers spend some time on a bike. Would make them better drivers. Damn right. I admit that riding 2 wheels has made me a better cage driver. Riding on 2 wheels, be it bicycle - scooter - or clutch lever motorcycle, is guaranteed to train a person to drive a car in a safer ...

Re: Question about top case
I like my rack. Today I bought a present for my teenage son. Too big for any topbox. http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8229/8558341423_4f276b15fe_z.jpg Box on rack by TazPCX , on Flickr Definitely there are times when the size constraints of a top case get in the way. I agree there are times when nothi...
