Re: Other riders
Not any that I have seen in my area either. Although I know there is a member on here from a town 15 minutes away :D Today I did see two Honda Elite's and two Honda Metropolitan's at an Ice Cream shop. On a side note, I sold my wife's 2013 Honda Metro today as I am finalizing a deal for a New 2012 S...

2nd ride - 2003 Suzuki Burgmann???
Sorry if this is inappropriate in the PCX forum, but I thought some of you may have some good feedback on an opportunity to purchase a 2003 Suzuki Burgmann. It is Silver w/Black, 650cc with 14 k miles. New tires and battery and seems to have been taken care of. The owner is asking $2900. See pic bel...

Re: Average fuel per bar?
Wow, that's great mpg. I still haven't broken 100mpg, but I'm consistently close. That was my 1st time over 100 MPG  I dont know what to tell you...my PCX has turned into a "Wondercycle". After I hit that 1000 mile club, it has just took off. It has been great. This tank may be a lit...

Re: Hello Out There!
Hi Kim, welcome aboard PCXer! To tell you the truth, I see gusty winds and I change my plans. Because I can. I do not commute to/from work. All for pleasure and at comfortable and joyful speed, say 45-50. Though I'd like having the extra power to go 65 for those now and then faster roads. So do tel...

Re: Average fuel per bar?
One thing I was wondering, is the PCX easy to overfill and spill over? thanks... ScooterKim I try to fill up at the same location (when available) and to fill the tank until it clicks. I do not try to add more after it clicks. This way I stay consistent with my readings, etc. and don't spill either...

Re: MPG after 1st 1000 miles
I just had my 3rd straight fill up with higher MPG than any other under the 1st 1000 miles. 94.7, 94.7 again and 90.0. Was getting high 70's - to low 80's prior to that.

Hawaii - That thing is HUGE!
I wasn't sure you could put one that big on the PCX. Does it weigh much without being filled? And how much does it affect your ride, especially on the highway?

MPG after 1st 1000 miles
I have noticed a huge difference on my MPG on the last couple fill ups. I know that there is a "Breaking in" period and am thinking that is what is going on with the added befefit for me since I reached a little over 1000 miles on the PCX150. Nearly all fill ups over the 1st 1k miles, I av...

Re: Windscreen - Ermax vs. Givi?
Cas - If you would have to look through the windshield, it would probably be an issue. However, i am only 5'9" and i can see over fine. The wind definately stays off of your chest/shoulder section now, but at my height, it hits me good in the ears. Will take a little getting used to. But overal...

Re: Windscreen - Ermax vs. Givi?
Taz - I am not sure I like them a ton either...If I had it to do over again, I would only have the yellow on the skinny bar and the 1/2" section on the mirror, leaving the majority of the mirror the original black. It does serve a nice purpose though and makes sure the oncoming traffic sees me ...

Re: Windscreen - Ermax vs. Givi?
I went ahead and pulled the trigger on the Ermax + 25. It cost $163.00 with shipping included. :o Shipping from France. Hope I get it in a couple weeks. Any thoughts on shipping time to the states? I received the Ermax + 25 today. Not too bad as I ordered on the 6th and they shipped on the 10th. I ...

Re: Average fuel per bar?
Tildarama1 - This topic has been in my thoughts as well. Lately I have been riding mostly highway miles, back and forth to work and the 1st bar was disappearing at roughly 23 - 28 Miles US. If I am riding more conservatively in town, etc. I get more like 35-40 miles. On the same highway trips, I hav...
