Re: Yamaha XMAX 300
The thing about the storage space for the Forza 300 is strange...they claim something, but it doesn't seem to be true. I haven't seen one in person, as there are not available in Romania, but test magazines suggests otherwise: 2014 Honda Forza ABS storage space That’s not an unreasonable amount for ...

Re: Yamaha XMAX 300
Hehe! Jealous shouldn't be the case. If you really want a single vehicle for crowded city driving, commuting but also long journeys, this XMAX 300 is a very good investment. You can sell your other scooter and motorcycle :D The price is high for a scooter, but think of it as both scooter and touring...

Re: Yamaha XMAX 300
Ok I see. There is no GTS 300i on the official page, but I can see other models, Could it be one of these? http://www.kymco.ro/ro/produs/Scutere-peste-50-cc/Downtown-350i-ABS-e4/40704 --> looks nice, slightly bigger engine, but 14/13' wheels :( 5800 euros is almost the same as XMAX http://www.kymco....

Re: Yamaha XMAX 300
Thank you for the feedback. I have checked the Kymco People GT 300i Specifications. I like the engine power, the 16' wheels, lower weight. I really don't like the looks (easily blends in with the 50cc scooters) and the storage space and fuel tank are significantly lower. Here the price is 5000 euros...

Re: Yamaha XMAX 300
I am also interested in the XMAX 300, as I am looking for a next scoot after the PCX 150. The 150 is plenty ok in town, but if you want to ever leave the city, you either need to have patience or more horsepower :)) I don't have the patience... Also it compares to the Forza 300 in specs and class, b...

Re: New user - 2013 PCX 150
To continue this story, I had my 2013 PCX for more than 4 years without any incidents or bad experiences. I can recommend it to anyone.
I sold mine 2 weeks ago at 13600 km for 2000 euros. I have saved so much money from fuel and low maintenance, that I could buy a new one

Re: YSS shock plus more ....
Guys, what is the difference between the Shocks Absorber YSS Hybrid White Adjustable and YSS Gas Z-Series Black Adjustable? Hybrid is oil+gas and Gas has no oil in them? The hybrids are 64 euros and gas are 109 euros, so quite a difference. Was anyone able to test them side by side? http://www.power...

Re: Removing/Changing spark plug on a PCX 150
Have you succeeded in replacing the spark plug so far? I'm also interested in doing this, not because I feel something going on, but I see in the manual it's recommended to change it every 8000 km

Re: Pcx 150 drain bolt
Hi guys, I'll have to switch oil because we can't get Honda oil anymore in Romania. For years we had no official dealer for Honda Motorcycle, only Honda cars. Now that we have a dealer, they told me they don't have Honda oil yet, and it will take months to bring it. In this case I'll switch to Motul...

Re: New user - 2013 PCX 150
Hello again guys! I haven't posted in a long time due to various reasons. After my last post in July 2013 I had a failed surgery that kept me for 45 days in medical leave and 3-4 months off the bike, so the year 2013 for me was compromised, I only managed to ride for 2 weeks. In 2014 and 2015 I used...

Re: What is the range on the PCX?
I'm no expert, but I associate low mileage with bad engine break-in process. Both our 2013 150 engines for my friend and I take 2.2-2.3 l per 100km city drive. During the first 50 to 500km I was getting 2.03 l per 100km (original oil). You are doing sonething wrong.

Re: Convincing my mom
I think there needs to be a bit of clarification... This is not meant as discounting Mel46's information, BUT (and this is important, so take this in)... chicks dig the scoots. If you find a girl who does NOT like dating on two wheels, she is NOT the girl for you. You want a girl with a spirit of a...

Re: Convincing my mom
I'm glad I waited till I'm in my mid 30's to ride a petrol powered bike. I learnt a fair of roadcraft on a bicycle which I still ride more than the pcx. Almost the same for me. In my teen years I used to ride bicycles all day, every weekend and holidays. Doing 50km per day, every day in a big city ...

Re: How is the suspension of the PCX 150?
My suspensions seem very stiff, and I can feel every bump, even on a good looking road. I was thinking there is something wrong with mine, but I guess, since it's not adjustable in any way, this might be the reason. Please also post your weight. Being a small scooter, it might be factory set to be g...

Re: How is the scooter "culture" in your area?
Here in Romania scooters are also considered way worse than motorcyles, and bikes in general don't get a decent treatment. Even the bikers consider scooters a different race, and they don't get saluted. But there is a reason. Most of the scooters in Romania are under 49cc. Until this year, every one...
