Re: God damn stupid petrol panic buying retards!
I filled up a couple of days ago before all this happened. Still half a tank left so should be good for a week of getting to work and back. Worst part is there is no confirmation of the strikes going ahead. Its a big issue with a 6L tank and people draining stations dry. But i guess to someone filli...

Re: Teamtd11's PCX
@Teamdt11 Very very nice solution you have made for USB charging. Love it! Thanks! Also had an amazing ride out today across the North Yorkshire Moors http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y40/teamtd11/IMG_3554s.jpg Probably one of the best roads to take a PCX on. Or at least the best I have ever been o...

Re: Carrying lugage on rear seat
I was able to carry a boxed helmet for about 40 miles using some points near the passenger foot rests for the front bungee. For the rear one I think I attached it near to where the bodywork comes out for the rear indicators.

Re: Fuel economy
As the fuel tank is so small and the potential MPG is so high. It only takes a small amount of fuel to fill the tank a bit more than last time and return a high MPG figure. You are best working to a overall average. But that means to test out a change in riding style you will need to do that over se...

Re: Bike for the Wife (and also me!) advice.
Thanks for the advice everyone! I know i wont be able to go much faster if at all on another 125. Its more of a thing about it just going that much faster for it to be a A2 class bike. Thanks for the link gn2 thats a great help. As for budget a new PCX would be the top end, though as a second bike a...

Re: Bike for the Wife (and also me!) advice.
It's more a case of her not been able to use the bike when i'm at work. Which is 5 days a week, so for her to commute she would need a bike. I was thinking of something other than another PCX so we have have some choice.

Bike for the Wife (and also me!) advice.
My wife is struggling to find a job. Mainly due to the limited area we can get to on public transport. So I plan to get her provisional license sorted out and get her through her CBT. She would need a bike to ride after passing and as i work full time she wont have access to my PCX. Now I bought the...

Re: PCX Phone mount help
Well my cheep mount jobby off eBay arrived. And after a trip out and home again it fell apart :/ So i think I will give up on the using the camera idea. And just get something to keep it snug and dry so i can use it as a sat nav. I would post the videos i recorded but when i upload them the audio is...

PCX Phone mount help
I just got my hands on a cheep android phone which I would like to mount to the bike. So I can use it for satnav, GPS speedo and for commute recording. Has anyone had any experience of mounting a phone to the PCX? The problem is I want it mounted so I can use the camera on it as well. So putting it ...

Re: Puncture
I have spotted a set Michelin City Grip tires on ebay and was thinking if there are still some on there next time i have the money. I will buy them and get them put on the bike. Then keep the IRC tires as a backup.

Re: Puncture
Look on the bright side, you didn't end up sliding down the road on your arse watching the scooter tumbling end over end. Very very true. £10 to swap a rear tire is really cheap. The shops near here charge $45-$50 a tire, which is insane... Well this was a back street tire shop. handed him the whee...

http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y40/teamtd11/DSC_0137.jpg All fixed! So glad to be back on the road again, Even though i have only had my bike for about 7 months now. You end up feeling trapped without it. I took the new tire and the punctured tire + Wheel to a local garage. Charged me £10 to sort...
