Re: Bought New PCX150

Same here, glad there's some positive movement in their health. Far more important than material things, even if they're not always as fun! [WINKING FACE]

Re: Honda NSS300 Forza

Congrats! I was thinking that'd be the one I get too, but couldn't wait that long and thought I may not have enough room, whereas the 150 fits my garage just perfectly. Post pics!

Givi B33. (I Think)
Awesome! That's the one the dealer is installing for me this week. Looks perfectly sized!

Re: New Reflector Tape

Same, I'd love to know who supplies curved tape. I put some pieces of 3M's red reflective tape on the panels. It blends right in during the day, and seems quite reflective at night. Still, I'm digging the look of the rims. Really nicely done!

Re: New Reflector Tape

Snazzy! Did you have to cut the long tape to the curve of the wheel, or did it just bend around?

Oh man, that is sweet. I love the US red that I have, but I'm a big fan of matte colors. Well done!

Re: Honda Pcx 125 from cornwall :D

I think that's wise. I'm just a beginner rider, and may upgrade to a motorcycle at some point, but not having to worry about shifting gears makes a scooter so much more fun and safe for me, and therefore everyone else on the road. Let's face it, retesting just for an auto license every few years is ...

Re: Honda Pcx 125 from cornwall :D

Sounds reasonable to me. I couldn't believe that after a weekend course and 12 hours in a parking lot on a 1998 Honda Rebel, that I could get my motorcycle endorsement and go out and get whatever bike I wanted and take to the roads. Even at 44, that would not have been a wise thing for me to do, but...

Lager, which trunk did you get? My dealer is installing a Givi B33 Monolock for me this weekend.

Re: You're a biker? Questions, questions

If I remember correctly it means Search Evaluate Execute. It's been a few years since I took the class, but if not, it's something to that effect? Yup. Being a new rider, I'm still a little hopped up on the anxiety of a deer charging out in front of me... quite the possibility in central NJ. But my...

Re: Honda NSS300 Forza

I was originally looking at the Forza, but my dealer was only getting in two to start - one with ABS and one without - and I was pretty far down on the wishlist. Then he showed me the Kymco Xciting 500, which he said would be comparable in size to the Forza, and my wife's eyes widened completely. We...

They protrude, but at least there's quite a bit of flexibility built into the stems.

Re: Trunk width question

Thanks for the advice Kram! I've been traveling to China for about 13-14 years and remember the days when the streets were filled mostly with scooters and mopeds... now it's all cars, but the lights change and everyone is all doing the same thing as in Thailand. I'm looking now at a Givi B33 Monoloc...
