Re: 2015 (LED) vs previous iterations performance decrease
Not discounting the change in final gearing. I assume that was the topic of the thread I can't find. How much did it change?

Re: 2015 (LED) vs previous iterations performance decrease
Well we don't know exactly what the "new" belt is yet. We know the post '13 belt is 22.6 and that a Click 125 is 21.6 and the original PCX is 21.8 both being 815mm. My reason for asking the question is that is the performance of the LED is different from previous iteration maybe the belt l...

2015 (LED) vs previous iterations performance decrease
Sorry,
Not a new subject but somewhere buried in some thread is a reference to top speed or performance reduction on newer PCX versions. Alot is this is relevant to the 125 but carries across to 150.

Re: performance degredation - 4 years and daily motorway rid
It appears they may have reverted to the PCX/Click 125 815mm belt? As I said I'll pop in tomorrow and look at the parts book.
Here it is called PCX LED.

From Gates Scooter Belt Application Chart I think I posted it somewhere on here before? The question mark after the Honda number is for the last digit not questioning whether the info is correct.

Re: Is there any downside to using the red kill switch to sh
If you want to stop the engine but remain seated on the bike, read map, send text, call someone, use the kill switch. I guess we could stretch to stopping at roadside cafe and have the bike next to the table.

Re: performance degredation - 4 years and daily motorway rid
So a new Forza belt is wider than an old Forza belt. I don't have a Forza. Who is going to put a new belt on an older scooter and see what difference it makes. Approx 9.5% difference in variator effective diameter does? Agreed there maybe a small loss of off-the-line acceleration as overall gearing ...

Re: Buy a new pcx 150 2016 in Thailand
Corrado. Where in Thailand? Honda has a top box Shad is apparently better, not Givi but Givi will work. Honda also has a higher screen 1070 baht http://www.aphonda.co.th/2015/aphonda-product-PCX150-h2c.ashx but if you do that the 395 baht cover won't fit! There is also a chrome fuel filler cover for...

Re: EBR is back!!!!!
^ That would be the world series named after the Ney York World newspaper. Nothing really to do with the world at large.
EBR was in the 2015 World super bike series . I watched them at Buriram. Sounded different that was about all.
I hope they have dropped the antiquated Hardley engine.

Re: Radiator Air intake sizing for 150
The bikes are made near Bangkok which has an average summer temp of about 31C so i doubt you need to do anything. I have not noticed any after market bit to aid airflow. Today it is 34C, tomorrow it is supposed to be 36C Reducing the quantity of "antifeeze" in the mix down to say 15% or 20...

Re: NCY variator and rollers
So which variator is the best and why?. My observations: After a seven year interest in variators and researching English and foreign language forums it is not always scooter specific necessarily. It is less related to outright performance and seems to be based more on the roads and the type of ridi...
