Re: New windshield install cost $50 and took 2+ hours!!!
Nice job. Just wondering.......where are you getting the free Givi windshields????? Lol. I got the short one thanks to Indy I was fortunate to be on the forums right after Indyglow decided to offer up two free windshields viewtopic.php?f=7&t=1842&hilit=free+to+good+home "Decent&q...

Re: New windshield install cost $50 and took 2+ hours!!!
Ride in this morning was cold!! But it was cold on my seat and cold on my back!! I've never noticed that before as it was always the full frontal assault that had my attention! Now I feel as if I have this pocket of warmth right behind the shield. My top speed also increased, something I wasn't sure...

Re: New windshield install cost $50 and took 2+ hours!!!
Here's the final product! After Maddiedog's great pictorial instructions I figured there was no need to take pictures during the process!! Tomorrow morning will be the first real test. The overnight temperatures are supposed to be in the high twenties (F) so I figure the ride to work will be around ...

New windshield install cost $50 and took 2+ hours!!!
So with many thanks to Indyglow for her kind offer of a free Givi tall windshield (323DT), and armed with Maddiedog's clear and concise visual instructions, I set out to replace my stock windshield for the winter & early spring season. Seems a straight forward project that should take me less th...

Re: What is the most gas-efficient speed?
Makes me wonder if I'm doing something wrong or if I need to have the bike checked out. I ride full out for almost the whole of my 14 miles each way commute. I barely hold 50-55 up the inclines and will maybe hit 60-62 on the declines. Drafting is the only time I go faster :D I have 3 lights and 3 t...

Re: Which helmets fit/don't fit under the seat
Bell Revolver (Modular) XXL barely fits with nothing else in the deep section. You can close the lid, but it does just push it up a little. I might leave it there once in a while for a short period, but I wouldn't want to plan on using it regularly.

Re: PCX top speed
So trying to distill the information above so far: I'm only at around 750 miles, so waiting until I hit around 2000 miles might see some improvement? Losing weight will help! Replacing the OEM screen with a large Givi screen (322?) will help with speed, mpg, wind buffeting and probably help pr...

Re: PCX top speed
I have the 150 and it just had it's initial service so now I feel "free" to let it go all out, but unless I'm going downhill it's not going much over 60! I'm only 5' 8" but currently a little on the porky 210lb side, and I normally have a bag with a laptop strapped to the back seat. I...

I would so be up for this, coming from the Scunthorpe/ Hull area and going to uni in Newcastle; however I moved State-side after graduation and that's where I've stayed and where my PCX is!!

Re: How Did YOU Come Up With Your PCX Name ??
In the UK there's a habit of shortening names that have two letters followed by an 'r' (and then whatever) to the two letters and a 'z'. So Darren becomes Daz, Barry becomes Baz, Gary becomes Gaz etc. etc. My last name is Ferraby so in school I became Fez, as did my brother a few years later. My par...

Very nice looking, completes the "sports bike" look! Is it waterproof/resistant? Do you plan on leaving it on the bike when you park and walk away or is a real quick remove and take with you?

Battery life is rated for 3 years. It starts life as a Citizen watch (guts) before they do their magic. The watch part can be removed from the mount and either sent to them for a nominal fee to change out the watch battery, or taken to your local jeweler/ clock repair. If you have the proper tools y...

Re: New PCX150 owner
@maddiedog, thx for more good advice! A trip to the local WM produced a Paul Jr "Sport bike" cover for $30. I also looked at Lowes and found some great options for sheds. I might even spend a little more and go with one of the larger plastic variants as I have 5 kids and quickly lost space...

@SCooterKim, exactly what Alibally said. The most "difficult" part was getting it centered and at the correct angle that I was comfortable with!!

1st mod to my new 150 - thx to the reviews here
So I live by my watch, which I found to be a problem when riding! Needless to say a clock was on the brain and I thought to check here and found great reviews for Clocks4Bikes. Didn't take too long to figure that they made exactly what I wanted. Ordered really late Monday night, it arrived while I w...

Here's a link to a black/red-reflective that he's just posted on Etsy, as well as a link to his Etsy store. He'll be adding a plain red/black as well as a black/grey-reflective shortly. https://www.etsy.com/listing/157054675/black-reflective-red-paracord-barrel-key?ref=shop_home_active https://liams...
