Re: Deal Fell Through
I'd rather have a Ruckus and a truck (with the hope for a PCX later) than just a PCX. Went through the stage of motorcycle-only transportation--never again.

Re: Best way of getting rid of tailgaters ?
Well, I don't ride the ex-police bike anymore--nobody ever tailgated me on that one. And, I don't have a gun rack (and gun) in the pickup window anymore--never got tailgated then, either. Tailgaters are impatient people who are much safer (to me) in front of me than behind me. I'll pull off to let t...

Re: Headlight High beam off or on during daylight hours only
If you want a real debate, how about headlight modulators? From the Texas Department of Public Safety (aka state police): • Brighten Headlights. Keep your headlights on at all times to help ensure that you are noticed day and night. For maximum effectiveness, keep your headlights in optimal working ...

Re: Headlight High beam off or on during daylight hours only
From a forum discussion from last year (remember, Homie?). Good advice is timeless ;) : "sometimes I flash the high-lows when I see someone acting too anxious to pull out' Be careful doing that. It's been mentioned before here--a lot of people (me included) flash lights to signal another driver...

Re: Pros and cons of going from 300 Forza to Silver Wing?...
Different folks, different views. I have absolutely no problem with the Silver Wing around town--it's more manueverable than many bikes I've had before. Nor do I have any problem at all pushing it around the garage, as the weight is down low. As with anything, there are always trade-offs, and only t...

Re: First commute on my new PCX
There's no bad weather (snow/ice on roads excepted), just bad gear. You're a hardier man than I, though. I choose heated seats in the car over a two-wheeler in the 40s or below. But then, as a Texan, 70 degrees is a bit chilly.

Re: Pro & Cons, Switching from Burgman 650 to Forza
If you have no problems handling the Burgman, why spend money on another bike? Keep the Burgman. So what if you're doing only 5k miles a year? Or do you really just want a change of bike? (that's okay, too) Heck, I have three bikes and I probably don't ride 5,000 miles a year on the three combined, ...

Re: Pros and cons of going from 300 Forza to Silver Wing?...
Don't know how many people will have done that here on this list. I don't have a Forza but I did go from a smaller scooter (PCX) to the Silver Wing. Can you help us focus our advice by sharing why the Forza doesn't work for you, and what you're looking for out of the Silver Wing? You could also ask ...

Don't overthink stuff that doesn't need a lot of thought. Use the kill switch if it's convenient, or not.

Re: Looking to pick up a 2016 Forza ABS - Question on price
It's not a high-dollar item (for a motor vehicle) so there isn't a lot of negotiating room. However, you don't know how low you can go unless you try. First, check to see if there are any Honda factory incentives. You're in an area with multiple dealers. Ask each one for their best out-the-door (OTD...

Re: What has been your longest continual ride on the PCX?
"This scoot is awesome , nimble and just a fun bike to do the twistys and hills, but not for distance and not for highways." You and I may not use it this way, but many forum members apparently do both distance and highway runs on the PCX. Indeed, the post just above yours is from someone ...

Rather see the Silver Wing added, it being another Honda scooter, rather than the Grom.

1/2 hour, give or take a couple minutes.
