Re: Forza has arrived.
Saw a Forza at the dealership when I went to pick up my license plate for the PCX last week. Mixed feelings on the larger scooter. On one hand, I wish it were in the showroom when I purchased the PCX a few weeks ago so I'd have another option to consider. On the other hand, the PCX does everything I...

Re: Poll: Are you a leg over person?
Bash, on the mirror topic, I angle mine out more than most (I'd assume), because I want full visibility of the lane on either side of me...! That's what I do too--for cars and bikes. Angle enough so I don't see the vehicle at all. Problem is that I have wide shoulders and the mirror stalk simply is...

Re: Poll: Are you a leg over person?
... just an aside question, does everyone use both rear view mirrors or do you seem to have a favorite, one that you seem to look out of all the time? for some reason, I tend to favor my right mirror. Usually use my left mirror. Can't seem to get the right one adjusted correctly. Could also be beca...

Re: Best Time to Buy?
Best time? Whenever you're ready. Don't wait. The range of prices paid is so small as to be miniscule. It's not like we're talking about a huge purchase, like a house. You're missing out on (priceless) fun each day you wait.

Other: From behind. Running. Leap up and land in saddle, like the old Westerns. Sometimes miss. Ouch.

My PCX is making me fat
Hi all- Have had the PCX for three weeks as of today. The scooter is great but since getting it I haven't ridden my bicycle to work. The pounds (on me) are already starting to accumulate. Anyhow, the scooter is perfect for a commute on 45mph roads, easily reaching that speed with power to spare. Fun...

Re: US Light bulbs?
Thanks, WhiteNoise. Did a search before I posted. Thought about posting under Technical but it didn't look like it gets much activity (only 4 posts!). Will try it though if nothing surfaces here.

US Light bulbs?
Hi all- Have about 80 miles on the odometer so far and really having fun. Would like to replace the headlights and turn signals with LEDs to free up some alternator juice for other accessories. Problem is that I can't find what bulb types the U.S. version uses. Unless I'm looking right past it, the ...

Re: Got it!
Ain't he/she/it a beaut? Getting it home was a little nerve-wracking, needing to hit 55-60 mph right out of the dealer's lot, but a quarter mile up was my turn, and from there on it was smooth sailing. Already 30 miles on it, and I only rode 12 for my safety course! It handles like a dream, I love ...

Re: Photo evidence
Very handsome, the two of them! Great photo! What's their names? Thanks! Dog is "Osa" (Spanish for female bear). Scoot has no name. Used to name my bikes (and cars) for the first girlfriend that took a ride in them ( ex., BMW R100RT was "Alexandra; Triumph Spitfire was "Courtney...

Hi all-
As previously posted, got my PCX last week. Somebody replied that it didn't happen if there were no photos. Well, here's the proof. Love the scoot so far; will post initial impressions separately.

Re: Just joined. Need info about mounting a trunk to my PCX
I'd look for the OEM Honda rack, as has already been suggested, and make a mount for a very strong Pelican case, with foam inserts for your camera equipment. Make the mount quick-release and take the case whenever you leave the bike unattended. If a thief wants your stuff, they'll get it no matter w...

Bought a new PCX 150 (Red) today
Already made a mistake by posting in the wrong topic area. Reposting here. It's three hours old but still at the dealer until my wife can drop me off to get it. Last bike was a Harley Road King so anticipate spending a little bit of time getting used to a much smaller two-wheeler. Had a Yamah...

Bought a PCX150 today
It's three hours old but still at the dealer until my wife can drop me off to get it. Last bike was a Harley Road King so anticipate spending a little bit of time getting used to a much smaller two-wheeler. Had a Yamaha Vino 50 a decade ago, so have had some scooter seat time. Usually ride a bicycle...
