No luck popping off that black plastic piece. I tried prying with a plastic screw driver, but it wouldn't budge. I'm afraid of breaking the plastic. I will probably just leave it and use the keys as a back up set without using the shutter. Thanks for your thoughts anyway.

It is just the cover piece (silver), which includes the shutter. The replacement has 3 screw holes. The ignition stays the same. The blank keys are cut to the original ignition, but don't work on the shutter. That is why the whole piece has to be changed. The black plastic fairing that surrounds it ...

How do I replace the shutter key mechanism?
I just bought a used 2013 PCX 150, but only have one key. It was cheaper to buy the whole shutter mechanism, because it came with two blanks. Now I need to find out how to remove the plastic covering without breaking it. Any experienced mechanics with advice?
