Greetings From Seattle.
Hi Gang,
I just picked up a black PCX 150. My first scooter. I had a couple motorcycles back in the day, but this is just perfect for me now.
Since it is raining here all the time, I'm hoping to find an online place to ship a termoscud and some bar mitts. We don't have any Tucano Urbano dealers in the US.
Anyhow, I've got all of 55 miles on it now, and I'm completely happy with it. Thanks for all the information as I was deciding what to get.

Hello and welcome to the forum. Gn2's link is a good 'un. Scooter-wear have their shop (The Cafe Racer) in Hove, near Brighton, which is 5 miles from me. I pop in on the odd occasion and they are always very friendly and helpful. I'm sure they'll be able to help you out with Tucan Urbano stuff.

Welcome JP! I'm thrilled to see another member from the Seattle area. Which Dealer did you purchase it from, and would you recommend that dealer? If you haven't done so already, you may want to consider a bigger windscreen. It makes riding in cooler weather much more enjoyable.
Cheers!

Welcome to the forum, JLP.
EddieC lives in California and managed to source a thermoscud, he might be able to tell you where he got his.

Re: Greetings From Seattle.
Thanks for the leads, guys. Rainburg, I went to the Honda dealer on Lake City Way. They had both colors in stock, but I really liked the owner. They sell a bunch of scooters and have been in business a long time. As I intend to do all my maintenance, he said I could watch and ask questions as they do my 600 mile service. That sold me. I'll get a picture up. As I have a yellow Aerostich jacket, it appears I'm going for a full bumble bee look. Joe
Re: Greetings From Seattle.
Our 2011 PCX125 came from Lake City as well, and I agree that the owner and his wife are pretty nice. I didn't feel that we got a very good deal there however, so I was wondering if there might be another good option in the area. We aren't planning to buy another scooter anytime soon, but we do think about selling our Burgman and getting a PCX150 at some point (maybe there will be a PCX250 by the time we get around to it). We just use the scooters for local in town errands and occasionally commuting to work, and we don't really need the extra capabilities of the Burgman for the way we ride. Plus, if we had two PCXs the maintenance would be the same. And we'd have two scooters I could easily get in and out of the garage; the Burgman is a beast.
Looking forward to seeing the photo of your new PCX!

Well a little international postage later, and I've turned my fun little toy into a Seattle storm Tucan.

Re: Greetings From Seattle.
I like them a bunch for Seattle. It's pretty hard to hit the high beam without bumping the horn with the mitts. The apron isn't made to go around the US signals as others have noted, but it wasn't too bad a fit scooting around them. All in all, they are very high bang for the buck functionality for my climate.
