Just not your cup of tea, GN2. I think it's silly, but really cool that dasshreddar is willing to customize his PCX to make it something totally different.

I'll move this thread to the gallery. It's awesome the skills you have, but I don't see anyone else being ballsy enough to attempt this. :D

I think it's just plain dangerous and from a UK standpoint, it would probably result in an immediate MoT failure and invalidation of insurance.
I doubt any UK insurer would take on any scooter modified in this way.

Definitely over the top for me but, I give you credit dasshreddar ;) you dig in and experiment. Some might label this kookie/crazy (& it is), but I'm thinking you're interesting. However, I will read & watch "your hands" do the work, mine shall never desire to take on this type of "mod" (if that's what you call it). Take care though, you don't want to hurt yourself or someone else should........"Scoot :ugeek: Frankenstein" get out-of-hand :D :?
Oh yeah, I agree with maddie, would you please take a few steps back and snap a Fuller pic?

Could probably do it on a 4-stroke with turbo and nitrous oxide ;)

must admit to having enthusiastically scrolled down through the pics until I saw the headstem shot.. :O it was almost like a 'when you see it..' moment.

having rode bmx for many years I just can't see how even one of the most solid of stems might be a possible alternative to the stock bar clamp setup. but kudos to you sir, for being innovative, and highly skilled in your craftsmanship!

sweet 24" 8)

Thanks :) and I've had no issues/regrets since installing it...
Coming from a bicycle background and not a motorcycle background, it was a no brainer to have a bar setup similar to that of my mountain bike(and gy6/ruckus) 8)
