That's a boatload of cash to spend on equipment to change a tire.. That's about all it can do,(you cannot get under the car) and you better hope you are on level and solid pavement.. Nice robotics showmanship but reality tells me its a no go !!

It looks to me like the tires could be changed, the engine is easily accessed, and so is the muffler. What else would the mechanic need to get at? Considering the fact that here in the Atlanta region we have "Hero" units that aid stranded cars on the freeways, this type of helper might work out well. Most of the freeways here have wide emergency lanes and shoulders.

Mel,you really wouldn't want to get underneath that arrangement and not high enough to stand under it anyway.The platform will block most all the under doings and exhaust piping . Additionally and when raised up you will need a step ladder to access the engine compartment???.You wouldn't want to change out a muffler on the highway I would hope.Great theatrics ,but can be seriously dangerous ..Looks like a good tire changer lift .
