First post. Not new to motor bikes. Had my SH150i stolen last summer and
just yesterday replaced it with a 2013 PCX 150. Purchased from original owner
with just 2500 km on it. I saved the Honda top box from the SH and ordered
Honda #08L70-KZY-910 mount for the PCX. Hoping they will fit together.
I always disliked the SH seat but I think the PCX seat is even worse.
I've been cruising through this forum and have already learned a lot.

Re: Newbe
There are a lot of accessories you can buy for your little Precious. One of those is a replacement seat. Remember that a 2013 is the original model, so make sure you look for parts for a 2011 thru 2013. The 2014 was a strange combination of new and old, but from then on Honda revamped the whole bike. I love mine because it has the fastest Engine. They changed the gearing on the newer models.
I assume that you are from some a country outside of the United States, so would you mind going into your profile and adding your location so that we can better advise you on places to purchase accessories? It would help all of us. Thanks, and welcome to our forum.

Re: Newbe
I think you will be happy with the 2013 model if you purchase an after-market seat or have an upholstery shop remove the hump plus where the hump bolts on, add more padding, and put on a new cover...or you can do it yourself.
Also, I would purchase a tall windshield. It makes riding much better because the wind won't be trying to knock you off of the scooter. I think there was someone on the forum who was selling their windshield, but he may only ship to the USA.

Re: Newbe
Have a look at "Cheeky Seats" stuff too. . ..
https://scooterseatcovers.net/index.php ... x&cPath=37
I noticed they now offer a "cover only" product for the 2014-2018 PCX models. . .no foam. . .just the cover. It gives an owner of a more recent PCX options to protect the existing seat or choose another color.
However, covers with foam padding (cost extra) are offered for the 2013 PCX scooters (seats that have the "humps"). Read the details.
The folks at "Cheeky Seats" are helpful and can answer your questions. . ..

Check out the Cheeky Seats website, it really takes away the hump in a fashionable way.NADman wrote:First post. Not new to motor bikes. Had my SH150i stolen last summer and

I bought the $95 padded model, then with exchange and shipping it came to $140 CND.....a bit pricey but well worth it (I did not get hit with GST/PST).

If nothing else, you can just remove the hump and find something to cover the holes.....if you are tall like myself, you won't regret ditching the hump
BTW: GO JETS GO!
