Centre stand issue
One of the cast aluminium lugs on the bottom of the motor which is for the centre-stand thru-bolt has broken off on my 2010 PCX. Makes it difficult to work on the beast. Anyone made a jack stand for these that allows work to be performed with both wheels of the ground. I have no trouble with getting one made to suit. Just wondering if someone has measurements of a frame that supports the under-carriage so that I can send something to a metal fab shop to get made. It sucks to have only a centre stand.

Re: Centre stand issue
You are lucky that the case didn't break as well. Others have had the center stand bolt break and crack the engine casing.
Honda fixed that problem on their 2013 models (built mid-2012).
There are already a lot of motorcycle lifts out that you could purchase inexpensively.
Here is but one of many. This particular one is sold by Harbor Freight in the United States, but I am pretty sure you can find them there as well.

Re: Centre stand issue
Thnx. Have seen a lot of different types available. Just wondered if here was specific template to fit the undercarriage rather than just go generic. Looks like I'll have to go to the drawing board. thnx for the tip.
Re: Centre stand issue
You could use a front wheel chock/stand
Four decades on two wheels has taught me nothing, all advice given is guaranteed to be wrong

They look easy to manufacture as well. But I really want to get something that allows me to get both wheels off at the same time. Time to dust off the tape, grinder and welder.
