oil change frequency

I did search but couldn't find relevant posts...

Manual says every 8000km. For such a tiny engine with a tiny sump & no filter (just a strainer) spinning so hard that seems like a lot. Many other scooters want oil every 3000 or so (Kymco Like 150 wants oil every 3000 or 2000 if you live in Oz). How often do you change the oil in your PCX?

It’s not just about the mileage but it’s also the amount of time. Most oil manufactures will tell you that if you don’t use your bike that often to change it within a year. Other than that I follow the manual, both crank and rear, takes 15 min.

I change mine every 3,000 to 4,000 miles. I suspect that I could go longer, since I only use full synthetic. If it sits for quite a while I change it sooner.
However, one quart will not blow your budget and could save you much more down the road. Better to be safe than sorry.

Manual says every 6000 kms. Don't overthink it

Once a year, between 4000 and 6000 miles on cheap dino oil.

For the Forza however not pcx.
