2019 Honda PCX 150 Tire Pressure
Ok, so the manual calls for 29PSI for the front and 36PSI for the rear. The odd thing is that every tire gauge I use says thst the PSI is well below those figures and the tires are already very firm. Am I missing something here? Are the tires supposed to be very firm and rigid with no give?
Someone please help me out here

Yes. But you might want to get a 2nd gauge and verify the PSI. They are cheap enough. Use the recommended pressure or something close to it.SantinoInc wrote: ↑Fri Apr 16, 2021 7:42 pmShould the tires feel very firm at that those PSI? Like you can't even pushed them in at all?

Thanks for the advice, I'm going to buy a third gauge to be sure I have the pressure right!springer1 wrote: ↑Fri Apr 16, 2021 8:34 pmYes. But you might want to get a 2nd gauge and verify the PSI. Get a TPMS. It is not as cheap as a simple gauge, but it can tell temperatures too, so you know what PSI to expect at what temperature as you ride. I try to only look at it before going out and on my way home at the end of the day. It is a convenience. It has allowed me to detect a nail in my tyre early, and also when my repair plug started failing.

If you’re going to come on and discuss a product please put a link. Here’s the one that I’ve been using for the past three years , it’s been flawless.

I got a Chinese unbranded reseller product: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/4000528793184.htmlSantinoInc wrote: ↑Sun Apr 18, 2021 7:26 pm What particular brand do you have on yours? How much did it cost you?
I paid US$28.89 for it.
Been using it since early February, so only just over 2 months but so far I am very satisfied. I ride almost every day, I just got lazy checking the tyre pressure before every ride the old way.

To jge64: the one you showed a link to, on Amazon, was it easy to set up? I tried getting one once but found the instructions indecipherable. How does the monitor attach to the scooter to show the pressure read outs? Thanks.
