They are "Currently unavailable" and the pages don't display the prices. I was asking just to quickly compare with my tire purchase costs here. I pay about US $24 to $42 per tyre, including shipping, tax etc, excluding installation. Never got a Michelin. I only see Michelin Pilot Streets available to me, and their prices are about triple. Also note that my tyres are the thinner and cheaper ones (90/90-14 and 100/90-14).SantinoInc wrote: ↑Tue May 18, 2021 3:07 pm Also, to the guy asking about price for MCG2: I bought them from a seller on Amazon:

I just hula hoop into them, without making them spin. Done it many times already. Felt very secure. Might or might not be safer in a crash.

Re: Average cost to remove and replace both tires?
I ride at every opportunity, and so, decided early on to learn to change my own tires in order to be proficient at it if needed, to save money, and to be of service to friends in the hobby - through the years, all have come to pass.
The cheap HF tire changer, a couple of quality spoons, Dyna beads, and a Mojolever are all I've ever needed. The Mojolever is sheer genius!
In that my local-est shop charges $50 per for owner's tires and, no shop within 50 miles will accommodate citing 'liability', I'm good.
Now I'll admit to having a few scratches in the rim, but I figure its a small tradeoff.

I had no idea there was a dealer on the Island. Where'd you get it serviced?SantinoInc wrote: ↑Tue May 11, 2021 7:01 pm I just got a quote of $75 to do the job. It's the only legit service center and scooter dealer on SI so I'm going to pay the $75. Looking forward to trying out these City Grip 2s!
