Drive belt age (maintenance)
Should this belt be changed after (x) amount of years regardless of mileage or condition?

Re: Drive belt age (maintenance)
What year/how many miles? My belts don't get to age very much.....If that was my situation......[old belt with few miles], might be inclined to put
a new one on and keep the old one as a spare.

Re: Drive belt age (maintenance)
Rubber ages. If it is a 2014 I would change the belt if you go any distances.
For local stuff I would ride it until it breaks if you have a friend who can rescue you and the scooter.
The Forza is really heavy so it takes an effort to get it into a truck or a trailer.
It is cheaper just to change it now. Buying friends lunch can get expensive.

Its a 2014 .. has about 10 k on the clock.. I don't ride everyday but time has its effects I am sure. It looks to be in great shape but time takes its toll I suppose and I dont have any friends that could help..

Re: Drive belt age (maintenance)
I have 103,000 miles on my 2014. I have had 2 belts break, not fun.
I have also replaced quite a few belts myself. It gets expensive to have a dealer do it.
A belt can last 18,000 miles easily, Honda says change at 16,000 miles.

I assume that is just the belt ($207). The labour is also that amount.
Most places won't work on a scooter.

Re: Drive belt age (maintenance)
Here's another vendor . I think I have the schematic up for a 2013 PCX, drive belt. Shows available, 'ships in 1-2 weeks'. Free shipping over $39.99.. which this is not. If you're in a real hurry, you may need to call customer service to verify the time until shipped... although, with things being as they are and shipping delays being routine.. crossed fingers for the best outcome.

I ordered a Forza drive belt......less than a year ago [same price] Recall the shipping was near $40.00. Thought that was steep for something
so light weight. Still ......not a bad deal. Printed with Honda [Mitsuboshi] [not sure of spelling] Strangely , they list the price in USA currency on
the website, but USA is not in the list of countries [select country] and you can't type it in. Hopefully Bikerzbits gets a handle on this and corrects
the situation.

Re: Drive belt age (maintenance)
I order most of my parts from Bikerzbits, and have had problems with the site, so I just email Emmett thru the site once I have created an saved order and he processes it thru the back office using email communication.
He is just awesome to work with.
