Front Forks Install

Post by Oldie »

I just replaced the front forks on my 2018 PCX using the excellent video by @MicBergsma. I find Mitch's videos very easy to follow and relaxing at the same time 8)

So, thank you Mitch for making a daunting task relatively painless !

This is how the old forks looked when I got my bike back after 6 years in a very salty environment. I decided just to replace both forks rather than rebuild the existing ones as I found a pair of almost new ones for the price of the re-build parts.

Good call. Mitch's videos are a blessing to any number of Forums.
Not the same, but I've tried rebuilds on brake master cylinders and calipers before, only to find the internals pitted so badly my efforts and the costs of the rebuild kits were wasted. Once should have been enough of a learning experience... I'm pretty slow sometimes.
Either way, glad you got things sorted.
