I don't know much about the PCX, but I take it you're running a 125 with a 170cc kit installed?
With as much riding as you do, this must be a very reliable conversion, yes?
In my limited 2yrs scooter experience...I came away thinking that most conversions hunting more power and speed for the small scooter usually , if you were lucky, gave you a boost for a limited time --and if not so lucky, blew up your scoot today!, or were crazy-making trying to get it to run descently again.
Not so with your conversion? It is reliable with no driveability issues?

Re: maddiedog 170 bbk update?
I haven't been riding as much as I used to. My wife made me stop commuting on the PCX when we had our son, and my V-strom has been my ride of choice lately for trips (my dog prefers to ride the Strom more than the PCX).
That said, the kit has over 2k miles on it and is fine. No oil use, runs like a bat out of hell. I don't have an aftermarket cam, which helps a LOT in terms of reliability (less boom means less strain on the engine), but means the kit doesn't have as huge an affect as it could. I'd get absolutely smoked by PCXDemon's "chainsaw" PCX.

And i would like to add that Dave's bike DOES run like a bat out of Hell! I rode it once and it was a real joy to ride. Even though I have a 150, his now 170 is faster. Of course, his Strom is waaay faster!

I can picture Dave and Maddie Dog heading out to the garage. Maddie makes her selection. The V- Strom it shall be!
