Fuse on the accessory socket

Post by outlander »

It looks like I blew the fuse on my accessory socket. Which fuse is it I need to replace?

It's a 10 amp. Pull them out until you see the one that's broken, then replace it. There are only a few in there, so it should only take a few moments to check.

You can tell the fuse is broken because it will look burned or the wire connecting the left and right side of the fuse will be severed.

Also, at least on my 2013 model, there are some spare fuses in the fuse box itself. If yours is like mine you should have one 10 amp to spare so that you can bev8n your way in short order.....unless whatever caused the other fuse to blow is still in existence. Make sure you know before plugging another fuse in.

The fuse blew due to a dual usb griffin adapter, it was a fake Chinese one.
