Any mirror designed for the PCX should have the proper threading; And I would happily check on my own for you, but with a broken collarbone I'm afraid I can't break my own mirrors loose to check.

Suggest you buy a shop manual with all the specifics you've been looking for. It might prove worthwhile.

Why not take one of them off and measure it?

The thread on the mirrors is left hand(lord knows why). They use a "gender-changer" adapter to thread it to the handgrip casting, which is right-hand thread. I put different mirrors on that are right-hand thread and left the adapters off, threading them directly into the handgrip castings. I had to get a pair of right-hand threaded nuts for mounting adjustment locking-down. Better?

Concerning later model PCX;
Confirm 10 mil bolts, I don't think you will see any lefty threads on 2015/16's rear view mirror mounts. Don't know about early 2014's but apparently the 13's were left and right hand threads :roll:

Personally, I say go for bar end mirrors so you can see more than your shoulders. :D

But hit cars when filtering and the view is lower.

Filtering isn't legal here sadly nor anywhere else in the states with the sole exception of California, so this doesn't apply to my own situation. I suppose in places such a thing is legal, bar end mirrors would require heightened awareness on the rider's part.
