Just wanted to say "Hi". I'll be getting a PCX in a few months when I move out to Bullhead City, AZ. I haven't ridden in over 25 years and want to ease my way back in by getting used to (again) not being in a cage. Eventually, I'll be getting a CTX 700DCT. I have nerve damage that keeps me from shifting a manual. I've heard nothing but good about the PCX and coming from a "suburb" of 128,000 to a "city" of 40,000, I feel a lot better about getting back out there on the road. Any riders in the Bullhead City/Laughlin area?

Great idea.... Welcome to the forums. We like scooters here, particularly PCX's and 4Z's. We joust about when we are bored sometimes so don't be thin skinned. There is plenty room for two bikes in your garage I bet. The Honda Is the staple for me. If I could only have one bike it would be the little scooter but I live in crazy town where people drive like bats out of hell twice a day. Btw if you could move Bullhead location to the left for permanent reference people will notice and perhaps riders can meet.

Welcome, welcome. Arizona is a good state for riding in a straight line as I understand it.

I ride a scooter due to a pinched nerve in my back which sometimes makes getting my leg over a regular bike an adventure, so I understand how it is to choose your ride based on physical needs. I love my PCX and though I have two scooters in the stable, it's the one I use the most. The CTX is a neat bike too.

I think Arizona and the PCX would make a wonderful combination.

The CTX700, a very nice bike. You should be very happy together.

:P Welcome aboard our forums loxlie, I BET you're excited! Riding again will rejuvenate you, and it will bring you right back to when you Got Off 20 years ago. Same Face, with the same Big Wide Smile.
I like your plan, and I'm pretty darn sure you'll love owning a PCX as your come-back bike. What color?

But.....I do have a question: Have you ever taken an MSF course? If not, and being that 20 yrs have flown by, would you consider taking one? There's a good chance that a course near you now or in Arizona will give you the option of using a scooter/their scooter, during their course. If not, they may allow you to use your own. If you decide to take the course, mention your nerve damage, explain how shifting would be a problem. Refresh Your Skills while Enjoying Yourself. That's a win/win! 8)

Sigh,.... Nothing Compares to Riding. It Just Feels So Dang Right ALL OVER! :P

At this point, color really doesn't matter to me. If I had my druthers, the pearl blue would be my pick. I'm taking an MSF course in August (here in Texas) on a 150cc scooter, which they're providing. I keep watching the Youtube videos, riding through the desert and I'm chomping at the bit to get back out! But, if I don't do this the right (and safe) way, it may be short lived.
