Re: My New PCX
you will definitely need good waterproof trousers, as the weak point on the PCX is the water pooling by the hump! Also it is surprising how long that spot under the hump can retain the water, I've had a wet arse more than once due to that

Partially hijacking this thread, another new PCX owner here, happened to notice that PCXMAN mentioned he was picking up his on September 29th, that's the same day I picked up my nice shiny new Candy Rosy Red PCX.
I am in the West Midlands, so another UK owner here...looking forward to being part of what looks like a great forum with lots of great tips.

Re: My New PCX
Good to meet you all. I enjoy speaking with folks from around the world who own the same bike.
I'm just home from picking up my new PCX 150. Red and very sharp looking.
I'll get some cool photos up soon.
I'm from Illinois in the middle of the "Good Ole' US of A". America.....land of the free and home of the very brave.
Besides enjoying our two wheeled horses we love our guns and plenty of ammo. We are ready mates to save the day!
LOL

Re: My New PCX
Actually, the eSP engine is supposed to be MORE reliable. The PCX150 with eSP gets better gas mileage than the PCX 125 too, which is awesome. You made a good choice.

People from the USA are no more or less brave than the people from anywhere else.
Just ask the folks in Vietnam.
You shouldn't shout too loudly about that, attitudes in the rest of the world are very different.Cooley_PCX_Rider wrote:Besides enjoying our two wheeled horses we love our guns and plenty of ammo
We mostly hate your vile gun culture because it is slowly but surely gaining hold here in the UK and elsewhere.
Four decades on two wheels has taught me nothing, all advice given is guaranteed to be wrong

Re: My New PCX
I carry my handgun on me when I go camping in the woods, it's good to have in case of bears or boars. The latter kills more people yearly than sharks in the USA, and injures hundreds more.
My wife makes fun of me, saying me and my dog are rolling out of our house trying to be badasses with our guns and knives and camping gear. Since we lack the speed or scariness of a bat out of hell, she says we're like a moth fluttering out of purgatory.
