I see it! I know what he's doing now.
Before you continue with the Skeleton bike you need to see how poorly it ends... it's all fun and good until you are cruising down the highway, people are all staring, some thumbs up, little laughter and then you realize
it looks like you are doing a skeleton in the bum... its why we don't see many of these

You need 15 posts to pm,
The PCX frame is asymmetrical so don't rely solely on measurements, eyeballing may work best.
Or just measure one side and eyeball the other.
Are you just planning on doing the Ruckus seat?

Want to get rid of the rear plastic and floorboards
going to try bolt on pegs
as for the seat going to try to incorporate an after market one I bought
trying to save under seat storage-if the seating still not right after getting rid of
the afore mentioned stuff(bike's too wide for my liking)
going with your ruckus seat idea
I see you sit more rearward over the suspension
like that idea
Oh about that tail light assembly?

yeah pegs are definitely the way to go.
You probably could keep the pcx storage box, but you would have to run the tubing differently than I did.
yeah rear of the seat is on the upper shock mounts.

these always seem to be on sale from them, mine was only $24.99 and it is surprisingly good and bright. and the "speed metal" turn signals from them were also only $9.99(sale).

Definitely diggin the scoot! Great work amigo! Although, where's your bar-end mirror? Those 2 side mirrors are too heavy!

Now that you have the bike so gutted, might be easy to spend the $35 or so for a new 2015 fuel tank and see if it fits! Although, not sure how the sensor would work at that point.

It's still only got a sparrows fart of horsepower and the rider weight is pretty significant.
It just looks like a council estate special

Thanks, I actually like the stock mirrors... might get some of the 15 mirrors because my right mirror has some pitting in the glass.

I offroad wherever I can, its fun.

I could make the new fuel tank fit, but not sure if I would have to get a new fuel pump too? I'll let someone else be the guinea pig for that.
WORFAB wrote:so call me crazy but why didn't you just get a big ruckus lol it keeps looking more and more like one
big ruckus is too FAT, little ruckus is to low, and pcx ruckus is just right.
danieljw wrote:I actually bet this thing flys with such a huge weight loss!
Surprisingly I can reach my top downhill speed faster than before... I think getting rid of the "splash shield" behind the front fender helped more than expected (acts like a air-brake).
