Not sure the merits of Mov vs AVI, but AVI is old and Mov is industry stantard and can contain lots of features - lots of audio tracks, subtitles, compressed or lossless video, and can be played back on many platforms.
got it! and a decent tutorial as well... thanks bro!

Don't install this Video editor it has a low level threat PUP.Optional.Spigot.A
Technically not a virus, but it does exhibit plenty of malicious traits, such as rootkit capabilities to hook deep into the operating system, browser hijacking, and in general just interfering with the user experience. The industry generally refers to it as a “PUP,” or potentially unwanted program.

No big deal if you did run the program just use Malwarebytes to remove all Spigot PUP... https://www.malwarebytes.org/mwb-download/

I installed it but skipped the Spigot stuff. I have seen that before. The install tries to do all kinds of things.

Sorry about that - said I had not used it and I read so many positive reviews (including from what I thought were trusted sites). Shame so much s/w comes with embedded crapware.

That's cool nothing like a little exercise in computer malware sweeping  I actually enjoy a good virus or malware hunt now and then, keeps me on my game. It did hide in my registry and it spread some files and folders around but homie don't play dat 8) It's dead!!!!

Malwarebytes, Junkware Remover, Eusing Registry Cleaner, Hijack This, and hunt down any folders left behind... piece of cake, wasn't even a challenge

Yes - on those CNET installs now you must do them all custom to skip the spamware, toolbars, and browser settings changes. That stinks.

The software seems very good so far.

Cool. My Grom buddy got a wide angle to give as a gift and it has the fiber optic additions. Did you take it apart? I bet we might be able to get those and add them unless they are apart of the LED.

You can buy the wide angle lens separately for 29 bucks and fit it yourself... I saw it somewhere

Yes. That is a great option if I use it on RC aircraft.

Here is a Mobius clip at 1080P @ 30 FPS with a handlebar mount I just first tried. The clip is the Forza at 70 mph and then 50 mph and then 30 mph roads. I am adding a shock cushion to the mount which should get rid of most of the vibration and the oscillations left from the hard mount.

The second road at 50 mph is very rough.

Yes I wont be mounting this way, too shaky, my eyeballs are still bouncing. Lets do some other option and why don't you like helmet mount? I plan on just turning it on for every ride and if there is nothing eventful deleting for the next outing. 90 minutes is a good ride so I'm covered the whole trip each time. I can charge on the bike too with all these accessories I collected.

Here is another one from the same run but a bit more scenic. Still needs the shock mount. Select 1080P.

I was getting helmet bobbing from the helmet. I am reading on motorcycle forums that a cushion on a solid mount is the way to go for smoothest video. You still can turn though.

@SECoda - What is the warping effect, is that a stabilization feature? When at the stop sign everything is really warping and your not moving. Strange!

It is from the hard mount in the handlebar and vibration on the sensor. I hope to eliminate that with the cushion mount. The body eliminates it on a helmet mount but there are tradeoffs with helmet mounts too.

Collected 5 mounts so far and all electrical connections including their helmet mount, I don't think they offer anymore kinds. What is this cushion you are waiting for?
I think the Mobius does well with sound in the open wind, but why not go behind your windscreen?

It's custom. The Grom owner's son is making it. Basically, it is a about 1" cushion/foam with a female 1/4x20 on the bottom for connecting to existing camera mount bolt and 1/4x20 male on top (normal camera attachment). He claims it is effective.
