after you've ridden a lot of motorcycles a lot of miles you come to realize how important good shocks are. i replaced the rear shocks with YSS gas shocks very soon after getting the bike. the stock shocks are shockingly crappy and cheap. they felt wooden. shame on honda for skimping with those terrible stock shocks. it is just shocking!
i feel the YSS gas shocks make a nice improvement to the ride.
