like all Italian motorcycles...great to look at but un reliable as hell.....at least my 748 was.
My Pantah was thrashed relentlessly within an inch of its life, only thing that broke was the chain and that was down to me not adjusting it properly.

I put the most miles on my V-Strom. It went everywhere I wanted to go, was durable, quiet, and nimble. I'll get a bike in that form factor, only a slightly smaller displacement once my boys are a bit older. I'll probably get a WR250R and add fairings for similar ergonomics to the Strom. I may do the 2021 ADV as an alternate. It's still a toss-up. My wife wants us to get a side by side (like a Honda Pioneer 1000-5) to do similar offroading that I used to do with our KTM, so I may be sticking with just my PCX for another few more years. Here's the Strom:

I think my favorite though was my Honda PC800. That thing was built like a spaceship, and it was so comfortable to ride. It was the most relaxing riding experience by far that I've had. It looked really cool too (at least in my opinion):

I still miss my old PCX, I put a lot of miles on that, and had it set up perfectly:

But my new PCX is still pretty good. I've finally been able to ride it some lately, which is awesome, but I've only added ~1k miles over the last 2 years, which is sad considering I was riding more than that a month when I first got my PCX! Here's the new PCX:

That all said, by far the WORST 2 wheeler I had was the Silverwing. We bought it to ride up the East Coast, taking the BRP. We cancelled the trip because we got pregnant with our first kid, and because the scooter was just no fun to ride. It didn't do ANYTHING well. It was noisy, it was cumbersome to ride, and it really wasn't that comfortable. Should have kept the PC800 for that.

I have liked all the bikes I've owned but the most enjoyable was the KTM 690 Duke.

My old Yamaha R1 bought from new and had it sat in Germany at the Nurburgring to which I would fly over each weekend to ride on (sadly wrote it off there, but hey hoo)

Back when those were on display for sale at Honda Dealers as their latest and greatest offering I "didn't get it".

But now I do . . .. 8)

At least you still have the pics to remind you of what a great machine it was for it's time.
