That's the first negative owner review I've seen of the Xmax which is generally held to be outstanding. :?

Well I saw a good one yesterday (oops - Wednesday), test rode it a couple of miles, and left a deposit on it. Topbox being installed by the dealer; a Givi E300B. Collect it next weds as I need to wait for a day off. It'll be a longish ride home, over 60 miles I think.

@kramnala58: I'm collecting it next weds the 19th, its about 50-60 miles back depending on the route. I may take "detours" without a GPS shining in my face.

Its a standard white one, but 2013 and mine. I'll post some pics once I get it home.

Anyone know what the differences were with the "suffix D" model?
I like the look of the E300B topbox but its about the only one with no extra brake light kit.

There's two distinct ranges of Givi box, Monolock and Monokey.
Monokey is a higher spec and has the light kit.
